The usage of space everytime he looks at a vice is because it's the same scene used in the planetarium where Sarah Lynn died. So everytime he looks at a vice, it reminds him of her and how he needs to stay sober and change
Leigh Harford I read the stars as a symbolic representation of death. He knows in his gut if he goes off the wagon again he’ll end up the same way Sarah Lynn did.
The way I interpreted the intro is that BoJack is finally sober and facing the consequences of his awful behavior. And nothing was a bigger consequence than what happened to Sarah Lynn at the planetarium, hence the recurring stars. That's what's driving his recovery. He looks into the vodka bottle in the first episode and sees the consequences of his substance abuse. Anyway, that was my take on it. Keep up the good work, Normies!!
This episode felt like such a theatrical comedy of errors that, with just a bit of tweaking at the beginning and end with additional info, could actually be staged as a literal play. It took me right back to those fantastic comedies I got to be a part of in college that rely on situational humor like this and not just cracking jokes. I loved it so much!
this felt like those old timey charlie chaplin and laurel and hardy stunt comedies and pickles is acting like what bojack told sarah lynn, "friends and family come and go but your audience will always be there if you are nice to them"
My favorite episode so far! Really funny and introspective. Mister Peanut Butter just continues to unravel as a character. It's been slow and under the radar, but he's probably the best example in the series of "Can you truly change?" He's the character you want to like. He's the beloved celebrity you hate to hear anything bad about. But he's the other side of Bojack's coin in a lot of ways.
So just rewatched the series and I never made the connection. In season 3, when Mr Peanutbutter visits his brother, he says his wife isn't there because she is running the Iditarod. And three seasons later we find out she's a Husky! Love this show.
Even though this season is the most depressing, this is the episode where I laughed the most, because of everyone hiding themselves while Mr Peanutbutter and Pickles argue
We are everyone in the chat haha, I was reading it so closely. The pool thing is something I never even thought about till Marketa mentioned it now its messing with me so much! man this episode was so good, everyone hiding whilst they had that convo was just too good, man great ep, the ending was too much XD
the sky is a reminder of sarah lynn and how he failed her cause on the night she died what the sky looked like also a reminder that he needs to change.
And it also works like a reminder of Sarah Lynn's death, pushing him to become better, and reminding him of just how *easily* he could fall back down again. That's why he keeps the bottle around.
I just binged all of Bojack, then came straight here to binge all your reactions, just an emotional rollercoaster, fantastic writing, really a show worth remembering and talking about...... And Marketa ruined that by mentioning that pool!!! Now it's all I can think about!!! 😂
10:15 the dude on the left (ive watched the normies for a while but still dont know his name! lol) doesnt usually have massive reactions (at least in the bojack horseman series), so this part was really cool to see, lol.
I know that some people find it a bit annoying that in the intro, even though there is no pool, Bojack is shown to be drowning in one. But believe me there's a lot more importance to that scene in the intro. You'll get it when you come near the ending, if you know what i mean.
All the stars from when he looks at the bottle is from the PLanaterium. (Spelled wrongly)... His guilt for what happened with Sarah Lynn. ANd I looked at the first comment describing this exact thing. I'LL STILL LEAVE IT!!. D: My mark showing that I exist.. Sort of..
I hope Chris doesn't develop an addiction, but pilled-up Chris is the best Chris. (Yes, I feel bad even typing this out lol. But I still feel the need to comment it :P )
Lol I will do my best not to get attched or addicted to this medication! But I'm glad I could bring the some laughs ... fun fact my back is good so I havent even had them any lol Chris
a year late, but! in theory, it's a normal depth pool, as we see when Bojack falls in it. But towards the end of the intro, we get an upward shot of the pool (seemingly a multi foot deep pool) and then a shot that shows the under side of the deck. the deck seems incredibly thin, no pool at the bottom to show how deep it should be. That's why she says the pool's not real
Diane is so selfish it’s hilarious no one else sees it. The motive behind almost every single thing she does is to make herself feel better under the guise that she gives a shit. A martyr.
She’s literally the only non shitty character in the entire show besides Guy. She’s been genuinely happy with her life since her introduction. She’s supposed to be annoying and immature, but she’s faithful and loving, much like a dog.
Mizako 96 oh ya it’s totally not happening. They’ve even shown that together they would kind of be co-dependent and would allow each other to both bring out their worse sides, slipping further into depression, drinking and drugs together. It’s ultimately for the best that they stay good friends at a distance. It’s just part of me that wonders if they could’ve been happy in an alternate version of this story where some things played out differently. Now I’m just hoping they can remain friends after everything bojacks done comes to light.
Glad that more people recognize what Bill Gates do and support it. Sadly there are nasty conspiracy theories about him... always spread by people who have trouble understanding what they're reading/ hearing. X.x
This was a good episode, but i think i watch bojack for a diffrent reason then everyone else, looking at the reviews, this is the best episode review wise this season and i think it was the least good one, i prefer episodes where the humor is pushed a bit more back
The BoJack Horseman reaction videos were how I found/why I subscribed to this channel, but Chris and Marketa(or however her name is spelled)have completely ruined them for me. Please stop putting them in these.I don't care if they're in other videos. The original "4 Horseman" were fine the way they were.
this is definitely a top tier Bojack episode, this whole season honestly is so high quality
The stars that Bojack sees in the intro are the stars from the planetarium where Sarah Lynn died.
Was just about to comment this, lol
My thoughts exactly
Literally was about to comment that xd
Raphael Bob-Waksberg before the season started talked about how pivotal that is because it's the last thing she saw.
yeah, no shit everybody knows that.
They were talking about what it represents
The usage of space everytime he looks at a vice is because it's the same scene used in the planetarium where Sarah Lynn died. So everytime he looks at a vice, it reminds him of her and how he needs to stay sober and change
Leigh Harford I read the stars as a symbolic representation of death. He knows in his gut if he goes off the wagon again he’ll end up the same way Sarah Lynn did.
Which Normie gave me the heart??
Obviously...
One of the best episodes for me. The five main characters finally gets together in the best way possible. This show is the perfect TV series.
That's actually it
You are right because Bojack actually said he remembers everything now that he is sober
Spot on my exact thoughts
I love that two dogs can't tell that people are in the house
This episode felt like such a theatrical comedy of errors that, with just a bit of tweaking at the beginning and end with additional info, could actually be staged as a literal play. It took me right back to those fantastic comedies I got to be a part of in college that rely on situational humor like this and not just cracking jokes. I loved it so much!
I love how the absolute worst thing she can say to Mister Peanutbutter is "You're A BAD DOG!"
To be fair, for dogs, hearing that must be pretty bad.
That's what made me laugh the most in this episode
Sober for almost 31 years now!
Congratulations!!! Keep up the good work
Good job!!
Nice!
So proud of you man
keep it up, proud of you!!
RIP John Witherspoon....he voiced Pickles' dad, one of his last roles 😭
He did?! OMG I didn't know that! Also yeah Rest In Peace John Witherspoon!
RIP to pops
I love how Chris is just so impressed with the level of humor of this show
this felt like those old timey charlie chaplin and laurel and hardy stunt comedies
and pickles is acting like what bojack told sarah lynn, "friends and family come and go but your audience will always be there if you are nice to them"
It reminds me of Faulty Towers, one of the funniest Brit-coms ever. All the physical, spacial comedy And the plot unfolding like clockwork. I love it
My favorite episode so far! Really funny and introspective. Mister Peanut Butter just continues to unravel as a character. Interesting
Weird Al plays Mister Peanutbutter's brother guys
It's so obvious too
@@DumbIdeaPresentedStupidly They looked it up about 30 seconds after I posted this lol
10:45 "Social media gives SO many people validation!" LOL very true! You are so clever and funny!!!
Honestly, this is this season's version of Mr Peanutbutter's Boos. The funniest episode of the season.
Dang that's the first time I've noticed the pool thing in the intro. Marketa is observant
Suraj and Najid hate Pickles because they are literally just like her. It's eerie. Also, thanks for the best market substitute out there!
I think that applies to the majority of the characters in the show. There are so relatable.
8:45 Chris meds making him glitch
Suraj stole some of 'em.
@@e-memes808 yeah saw that too
17:36 Aww! Ruthie’s hugging Todd! 😁
You guys, the stars in his bottle of vodka are the stars from the planetarium where sarah lynn died.
I just *love* it when Princess Carolyn pulls off her mad agile Cat Powers! 💜😍 It's both badass and hillarious!
So just rewatched the series and I never made the connection. In season 3, when Mr Peanutbutter visits his brother, he says his wife isn't there because she is running the Iditarod. And three seasons later we find out she's a Husky! Love this show.
RIP PIckles' dad. (John Whitherspoon)
Amazing actor!!
OMG! I NEVER NOTICED THE POOL THING! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
17:10 "That's not a friendship. That's a hostage situation."
Yeahhhh that irony hurt knowing what happens later
Even though this season is the most depressing, this is the episode where I laughed the most, because of everyone hiding themselves while Mr Peanutbutter and Pickles argue
This episode was full of classic bojack hijinx
Man, this show is so next level in comedy!
We are everyone in the chat haha, I was reading it so closely. The pool thing is something I never even thought about till Marketa mentioned it now its messing with me so much! man this episode was so good, everyone hiding whilst they had that convo was just too good, man great ep, the ending was too much XD

This episode totally gets the Funniest Episode Award of the season
Rip John Witherspoon
It should be a crime to make a pug cry. 😢
One of the funniest episodes of the series. Love that gag of everyone hiding
Watching everyone try to sneak it of the house while Peanut Butter and Pickles argue was so entertaining
5:00 finally somebody realizes the pool!! that pool has no depht!! I notices just a year ago xdxd
Yay more bojaacckk! I love this episode. Instant classic!
I love this episode, it was so much fun to watch!
The stars and all that are the stars from the planetarium. Alcohol and other things are a reminder for Bojack of his worst times.
And it also works like a reminder of Sarah Lynn's death, pushing him to become better, and reminding him of just how *easily* he could fall back down again.
That's why he keeps the bottle around.
When BoJack Horseman becomes Metal Gear Solid
wackiest episode since Bojack went underwater
Love the “All That” shirt
Angels in America is about the AIDS crisis in the 80s.
Was anyone else bothered by how Chris blended in with the couch behind him 😂
I think even the art team basically went "oops" when they realized the pool wasn't correct in the intro lol
I love the implication that none of you are sober right now lol
5:35 the stars are a flashback to the planetarium where Sarah Lynn OD’d. Its a reminder of everything that happened
I am re-watching they reactions to Bojack starting from the first episode of Season 6 till they release the last episode of Season 6 ( episode 16 ) .
Ah man that pool thing is going to bother me SO MUCH NOW AGUHGGGH
U GUYS ARE BEHIND HURRY UP AND GET TO REACTING!!!!!!! LOL LOVE UR VIDROS especially the last air bender videos :)))
I know that some people find it a bit annoying that in the intro, even though there is no pool, Bojack is shown to be drowning in one. But believe me there's a lot more importance to that scene in the intro. You'll get it when you come near the ending, if you know what i mean.
They meant the final shot of the house, the bottom part of the patio is flat and it just doesnt look like it should be holding a pool
Dark Fan Theory.
Bojack is one who got Sextina Aquafina pregnant.
D8
No
It was the Shrek movie quote for me
I don't get the ' see you next friday joke'. I get the euphemism for see you next tuesday but this one is going right over my head
I've been sober for an entire minute! Can I get a 1 minute chip?
Weird Al is Captain Peanutbutter.
Been waiting for this ep!!! 😁😁😁
One thing that erks me is that Tara Strong, greatest voice actress sent by God, wasnt on this show and she wouldve been awesome
Don't lose all hope! There's still eight episodes left
Facts
where's the baby *puts hands over eyes* o shit where's the baby?

This was the best episode in the entire series!!!!!🤣
10:25 What a cut haha
0:38 Marketa ain't impressed Chris 😆
Weird Al voiced Captain Peanut Butter because his previous voice actor died unfortunately
best episode of the season. easily on top 10 episodes.
Weird Al plays Captain Peanutbutter
I hope Chris doesn't develop an addiction, but pilled-up Chris is the best Chris.

And Suraj wasn't?
Oh good, you saw that too

Pickles and mr peanut butter so cute 😱🥺
SURPIIIIIISSSSSE!!!
That Angels in America joke is amazing! I haven't seen it, but I know it's a very tragic story about the aids epidemic so yeah, very NOT a comedy haha
What about the guy PB met at the gas station once? :p
Diane is so selfish it’s hilarious no one else sees it. The motive behind almost every single thing she does is to make herself feel better under the guise that she gives a shit. A martyr.
I’ve never not been sober so,,,
Great episode. BTW Watch Succession great show
You need to talk more over the dialogue, I think I still heard a couple lines from the show
TRILL GATES
Anime girl moaning at 6:22

She's super annoying
@@astrea4020 Right? I love Pickles. Her character is a breath of fresh air tbh. I was really annoyed with Mr. PB and Diane's relationship
I like Guy okay but im always gonna ship Bojack and Diane hardcore.
I’ve been hoping for that since season 1 but I can’t see it happening
I think we’re out of the realm of possibility for that happening. They love each other, but not romantically.
Mizako 96 oh ya it’s totally not happening.
