Will this process shorten the service intervals of the fork fluid due to the cross contamination of dirt/water in the micro finish? Or does the "oil" in the cross hatch keep it out? Whats your experience ?? Seal drag isn't really as big of an issue on modern Forks( tighten the garter springs on your seals and see if you can pick it) as "flex bind"(when the tubes bend over different arc's due to engineering) which is best cured with hard coatings..
