I enjoyed this video so much. All was clearly explained. My aim is not to understand it for oil and gas but for groundwater. However, it makes a lot of sense in such a short time.

worth noting that the high neutron porosity/density for the presense of HC - high neutron actually means very low value in the neutron log itself

Thank you for this video. I've read about how to determine the information contained in a well log but to hear it explained is far better.
As an aside I think once the Dems lose the House and the Senate in November financing projects such as the one you mentioned won't be a problem.

Great video. I really appreciate the time and effort that both of you put into making this available.
Do you have a tutorial about Induction Electrical Logs and Compensated Formation Density Logs?
Also, do you get better information from the open hole logs than from the cased logs?

I know that those black squares every 42’ are csg collars and and I look for the short joint to get on depth and begin to pin point inject every perf with acid. That way you know how much psi it took to break..how much acid was pumped in each perf and at what rate. You ready to get your wells acidized hit me up!!

Great video! I've learned so much from your channel. Can you recommend some online sites/resources on basics for well investing and learning the industry? Most of what I see from online is very superficial. Though your content is actually valuable and informative.
