Great list! I agree with most of it. Except for Valencia :) I can maybe put up a defense for my home circuit Buddh. Looking at the parameters you've rated the tracks by, the version of the Buddh International circuit featured in the game is the 2013 version.. So I think the lack of the long lap penalty loop could be excused. The version of the track we saw in 2023 real life is a lot different. New kerbs, gravel traps even profile of the corners are different including track limits. So when the update eventually comes, you probably have to practice like you're racing in a brand new circuit. 😊
Ahh that’s interesting, I didn’t know that it was based from 2013. That makes things worse 😂 I’m basing it from what I assumed was the up to date track lol
Hey Dr Ace....great video I both agree and disagree on a few but appreciate it's personal choice....😅...by the way concerning Buddh...if you look closely to to your right as you're going around turn 5 just as 6 appears the long lap is to the right...boom🇬🇧🎉...top 10....keep up the great content mate
I don't have GP23, so I'll rank the tracks in GP21 instead. **Nuke These** 23. Aragon: I really fucking hate this track. 22. Kymi Ring: Never even happened, and it's just no fun to ride. 21. Brno: It's boring, the corners are repetitive, it's a good thing it got taken off the calendar tbh 20. Red Bull Ring: The GP21 braking makes the 3 big braking zones pure pain because instead of backing the rear in, it just bounces and vibrates awkwardly. The painted kerb on the exit of T10 is an actual kerb (which are broken asf on the game) 19. COTA: Bumpy, long, the AI pull suicidal moves, and the second half of the lap is so awful on a motorcycle 18. Valencia: I've seen the AI go 6 wide at turn 11. The kerbs are fine on the inside, but they're doubly broken on exit, which makes it absolutely insufferable **Mostly Bad** 17. Losail: It's pretty fun to ride but the AI take weird lines and cuts turns 5 and 6. 16. Motegi: Turns 7 through 10 are fun, the rest ranges between mediocre and shit 15. Buriram: like Motegi, but the bad parts are better and the good parts are worse 14. Sachsenring: If I wanted left turns, I'd stick to NASCAR **Meh** 13. Jerez: It's just there, ranked lowest of the meh tracks because the final sector's fast corners are a lottery with the kerbs 12. Silverstone: Also just meh, nothing about this track stands out if you're not British 11. Mugello: The slow corners ruin the fun of the fast corners, it's a fun track to hotlap for a bit but you get sick of it over the course of a race 10. Le Mans: It's alright, the final sector sucks but it's balanced out by the great first sector 9. Portimao: The braking is a bit jankier than normal because of the elevation change, but it's fun to hotlap. AI inconsistency drags it down into the meh bracket **Good** 8. Assen: The most fun you have on GP21 is braking hard and backing the bike in on the limit of grip. Assen is a great track, but its nature misses the biggest enjoyment factor of the game. 7. Donington: It's good fun, and I honestly could've put it anywhere between 4th and 8th, but something about the other tracks puts it down here. 6. Phillip Island: Super fun to hotlap, makes for great racing. The only thing holding it back is the tire wear, which burns the left sides because GP21 doesn't have asymmetrical tires. 5. Catalunya: Flows so well, the braking is brilliant, the AI race well, but it's just missing a little something. 4. Sepang: Just like Catalunya, flows beautifully, but it just lacks that final piece of the puzzle. **Podium** 3. Termas: This captures that last piece of the puzzle: rewarding attack. Going hard on the brakes, then pinning the throttle, slamming the brakes again, sending it sideways on the throttle. It's so on-edge the whole way around, but it doesn't become frustrating in the process. Turns 9 through 11 are some of the best in all of motorsport. It only barely gets beaten out by the top 2. 2. Misano: Like Sepang, but if flows just a bit better, and the way it rewards pushing like mad is just glorious. The Curvone to Curva del Carro sequence is such a fun sequence of corners to just send it through. 1. Laguna Seca: The hard braking, the pinning of the throttle for just a bit of extra rotation, the tightest of margins on exit. It's just so much fun. It does everything right, and it's just a shit ton of fun. (Also it gets home track bonus).
I was just introduced to Donington in this game and let me say seeing it that low as an American makes me sick. And seeing Laguna Seca, Assen and Speilberg that low as well. 7?7???7 ACE? 🙃. WOOOOOW 😅. Milestone needs to get it together for GP 24'! Great and informative video ACE! This is a good idea as well! Are you gonna do one for the bikes?
i wish motogp will add the south africa track phakisa, i’ve recently come back to valentino rossi the game and you can race on that track and it’s surprisingly really fun, i hope they add this track to motogp 24
Great video Dr i both agree and disagree with a few tracks but understand its personal preference...😅.. concerning Buddh....if you look to your right as you enter turn 5 as turn 6 appears on your screen the long lap is there...boom🇬🇧👍....keep up the great content amd great effort....👍🎉
The long lap loop doesn't work in the game, you're just handed an instant 3 second penalty. It was never implemented in this game for Buddh :( I'm glad you enjoyed mate!
Fun video, really enjoyed. I’ll just name my top 3 and my bottom 3. The middle sections can be switched between them. 1. Qatar (I think this is my most played circuit. I love the night lights graphics and layout of the track) 2: Assen (for me it’s a Satisfactory track when you get it right) 3. Mandalika (technical and fast flowing) These three are tracks I love playing and not get tired. Bottom 3: 25- Laguna Seca (boring cos of AI and people don't like playing it online either) 26- Cota (too long and the 1st sector is tiring) 27- Portimao (too difficult for me for some reason) I easily get tired playing it these circuits
For the majority of players 120% difficulty is way too hard in the Sachsenring. It’s almost as if they are 150% 😂 so I had to put it that low. It’s actually a terrific track though
I hate Portimao with a passion, not because its a bad track, tbh I think its one of the coolest and well designed tracks ever but I just cant seem to do well on it, I crash at damn near every turn and no matter how many times I watch guides on it I cant seem to find my braking points and just end up going off track. Ugh!! its so unfortunate because I want to love this track but I just cant.
My top 3 most hated tracks are: 1) Buddh - Just a very awkward wide track. Doesn't feel natural on any of the turns. 2) Sokol - For the same reason as Buddh. 3) Chang - For the same reason as Sokol. I guess I just don't like the Asian circuits lol. The racing lines just don't feel good to ride, a lot of very late apexes. Don't know how to explain it.
Your "Asian circuits" were all designed by Hermann Tilke and I totally agree they are just not fit for MotoGP racing. Sepang was one of the earliest Tilke-tracks where MotoGP races were held, comprising all the characteristics that make Buriram, Buddh, Austin suck on a GP-bike. Even before the Simoncelli accident I couldn't stand or watch GP-bikes racing on such a ridiculously wide race track where it's impossible to find a decent racing line. I was sure Sepang was going to be taken off the calendar after Simoncelli.
after 600 hours into the game. i can validate this 😂. for me it's sachsenring & termas that get the last spot, the other tracks are fine. my favorite is Silverstone. and the most boring circuit go to red bull ring
I love these types of videos! Really nice to hear you opinion on tracks/bikes/physics
Glad you like mate, it was tough to decide but I’m happy with the list 🔥
Yes Phillip Island with the 6th place, its amazing glad you love it as well, Glad Miller got a run as well awesome Ace!
Saved Miller for this track in the video 🔥 Aussie pride lol
YES LAD! Good work on 11k too!
Legend, thanks buddy!

Being an indian fan little disappointed to see buddh circuitr at 17th in the list :(.. but at least you have been honest and not biased... 😊
It would have been higher if that Long lap penalty had been implemented 🔥

Do you for every track use same settings? I hate when i must for everysingle track put a different setting..How do you manage that
I just use default settings mate, I don’t change anything

not a fan of Sokol, most corners have no real reference point and it just looks extremely barren and awkward to ride laps on it
