Personally I'd love more MH covera like this and I love your covers my guy!
Will definitely be more. ;)
Nice job. \m/
Well done, mate!
you should remake broken promises with a good quialty like that , i love that song
Fkn quality cover.
Just got to your channel out of your Broken - 12 Stones cover. Quality sure has improved. You're awesome!
The quality has definitely come a long way haha. Thanks!
One of their best songs. A lot easier than their newer songs. Could you do a cover of "I am hell (Sonata in C#) Machine Head?
I'll add it to the list!
is that the clint lowery signature PRS?
Yep
What pedals do you use?
Machine Head?!?!?! *chocking out really REALLY hard right now*... I know Machine Head like my fist! Not only you did a hell of a cover, but I would never thought you would cover Machine Head!!! While I'm still chocking out from the unexpected, I'm listing you the songs you should cover, if you want.
As you already covered Imperium, which was awesome! Here's my suggestions: Davidian (a must!), Old, A Nation of Fire, Blood for Blood, Take My Scars, Struck a Nerve (a must!), Down to None, Spine, Bay of Pigs, Blood of the Zodiac, (knowing that you cover a lot of Nu-Metal bands, I'm sure you'd like to cover some of their Nu-Metal stuff) Enter the Phoenix-Desire to Fire, Nothing Left, The Blood, the Sweat, the Tears, From This Day, Exhale the Vile (a must!), The Burning Red, Bulldozer, White-Knuckle Blackout!, Crashing Around You, Only The Names, All In Your Head (a must!), Trephination, Deafening Silence, (and now we're back to the album you covered Imperium from) Imperium - if you want to cover the song again, Bite the Hand, Left Unfinished, Elegy, Days Turn Blue to Grey, Seasons Wither, All Falls Down, Descend the Shades of Night (there's the demo version as well which is short but it's prettier than the normal version), (now, if you're up to 9-10 minutes of songs, and most of them are between 6-8 minutes) Clenching the Fists of Dissent (a must!), Aesthetics of Hate, Slanderous (a must!), Halo, Wolves (a must!), A Farewell to Arms, I Am Hell (Sonata in C#), Locust, This Is the End (a must!), Darkness Within, Now We Die, Killers & Kings, Ghosts Will Haunt My Bones, Sail into the Black, Eyes of the Dead (a must!), Beneath the Silt (a must!), In Comes the Floor and Damage Inside.
I don't think I'm going to go that crazy lol, but I'll definitely be digging more into Machine Head. Working on Days Turn Blue To Gray and All Falls Down currently, two of my favorites from that album.
MysticGuitar77 Yeah, of course, hehehe. But, I'm glad you're liking them - despite you know them more than I because I only started like half an year ago while your first cover of them was couple of years back. And those two songs are my favorites from this album as well!
The Blackening is what got me into them. Beautiful Mourning, Halo, Aesthetics of Hate, that entire album is a modern day classic. That album was a big deal when it first came out. I never really payed attention to them before that.
MysticGuitar77 I didn't even recognized them at the time - when I was only 10 years old, hehehehe. But I sure would love to see you covering one of their songs from The Blackening.
Who else thinks of "Good Bones" & "Ten Ton Hammer" being swapped, like Psychosocial Baby?
1000th view haha
How the heck do you get harmonics like that?
Make sure you're in the right tuning. It's not regular Drop B, you have to tune up what would be the E string (3rd string) to an F instead to get the right harmonic.
What strings are you using
Daddario NYXL. 13-56 gauge
