I was given this old Tanner lathe by my friend Ben and his family, it used to belong to Bens father but hasn't really been used in years. In this video I set about removing most of the rust and old paint before repainting it.
The lathe is a model SB165 and was made by Tanner in New Zealand probably around the 60's or 70's. My bandsaw is made by the same brand.
