Do you like challenging yourself by playing a rather tricky character? This new video on DashFight’s channel describes the hardest DBFZ characters to learn and play.
They are difficult for different reasons. Someone is weak in the beginning, and you have to handle this till gaining proper power. Someone has a super unconventional moveset.

We’ve covered various sides of this term “a difficult character” in this video. Let’s not forget that we all are different - someone from this list might sound like the easiest character for you. And being difficult doesn’t mean being or not being rewarded for playing them. In some cases, it’s worth putting effort into learning, but sometimes it’s rather pointless.

Ginyu should definitely be on this list...You need to be a galaxy brain to keep track of the 5 members of the Force and utilize all of them properly while playing the opponent...The reward is unholy pressure once you master him but there is a significant learning curve.

It’s really weird when you see gaming journalism done right…you’re so used to big ones being wrong that you get surprised when DashFight understands how SSGSSGogeta works perfectly.
Very good list. I’d still say they missed some of the obvious ones like Ginyu, Frieza, or Blueku(arguably not hard but he’s too mediocre without loops)
@@zanken2480 I hear that a lot about Blueku, but strangely enough nobody ever says that about Base Vegeta, even though from my (admittedly low-level player) point of view they seem like really similar characters. What is it that makes people say that Blueku is mediocre if you can't pull off loops, whereas Vegeta is considered good either way? Personally, I'd argue Blueku is the easier of the two because of the better range on his 2M, unreactable command grab, easier to land Lv1 Super and extra movement/mixup options with Instant Transmission.
2:47 Gogeta Blue is an insane take. He is played so much by pros and I’d even say he’s meta
He's kind of high-risk / high0reward due to the Assist dependance - it makes GB difficult for the classic 1v1 mindset. i think the video just covers different sides of character difficulty, no one says he is not in the meta now
Meta doesn't mean not difficult to play
I personally feel like bluegeta is one of the easiest characters to play like yes he has harder routes but so does the most of cast and his mental stack makes him even stronger even if he doesn’t have an assist since his 5ll is really good for staggering and his 2l is now faster plus having a multi hitting normal is good for staggering and catching guard cancel on top of that he has a command grab and over head that he can cancel and an instant cross up
He’s high risk high reward. When you see someone play him he’s “easy” because they’ll use assists that cover him really well like Vegito and 17

One of the hardest seems to be gotenks. Not only his combo structure forces him to make many rejumps in 1 combo, but ghost oki is hard asf to fully master. Agree with the comment below , if there is 1char more difficult again is gynyu . He has absolutely no neutral options , you have to remember the full squad rotation , for combos , for okis, its insane , he is not the type of character who can say "i wont use this tool i dont care im too strong anyway" like ssj4 and his level7 . I understand your pov on gogeta blue , he is hella unsafe so i wont recommend a beginner to play him , and yeah the j2h rejump is a bit hard , but he is not in the top10 hardest char . All his combos are easy, except the j2h route , but old routes , like with j214m , make already crazy damages (but ofc j2h rejump gives better skd and is close to mandatory considering gogeta's main openings are on a jm in air2air ) . And he "works" by himself , 5s 236h jails (but yeah its -5) , 5s vanish works as beam vanish , long range 2m can catch landings (.. But you'd better to dash block to approach!!) , its... better than nothing .

To me Roshi, Janemba, Ginyu, Kid Buu and Gotenks are the hardest characters to play. Also I don't agree with Gogeta
I'd argue that Gogeta Blue is actually one of the easier characters, because his optimal combo's are really similar to his BNB's, which means you don't need to put that much effort into getting max damage out of him if you can open up your opponent. The thing that makes him difficult according to this video is easily solved by just playing him on point with one or two defensive assists and learning when to use those. I'd say characters with unconventional combo structures like Ginyu, both of the Buu's and Beerus are way harder and should have been on the list instead of Gogeta Blue. Or maybe a character that needs to rely on more advanced combo's to fulfill their full potential, like Teen Gohan.

A "difficult" character in DBFZ imho means a character that doesn't have a traditional L L M M H combo or a normal launching j2h (air down heavy)..
Blue gogeta and hit are easy peasy
I love dashfight but this list.. Gogetas as difficult due to "problems". Shorter characters got it worst on neutral and not putting deep characters Beerus, Ginyu, Krillin, Baby, Frieza or even just odd characters like Videl is just wrong.
Gogeta having is hard as an anchor is a myth. Dude got arguably the best 2m, j.m, beam, mix when he gets in and DP on defense.
Hit and gohan are not difficult at all
