Malls are run by management with little ability to recognise the duty to tenants and customers. Without customers there can be no Mall! creating fun, free events draw in customers. Promoting Antique Shows, Beauty Pageants, Amateur Tryouts and other functions increase traffic and lyalty. Never ever LIE to customers. This mall was my mall. I went there and asked about WiFi, they said, It was being fixed", I asked the same question a year later and got the same answer. I am so sorry that so many peple lost jobs. I was there and bought a slice of Pizza 2 days to shut down. Glad you showed and recorded these events for local history.
Jim Key I recorded it but instead of most people seeing this as a recording of history or anything of that nature I was publicly hounded for trespassing. This mall loved to hide what was wrong with it. Signs hung in storefronts boldly stating that thousands pass by it daily while shopping, trying to hide the fact maybe 6 people all day had seen that storefront. When a place went out of business, it got a big ugly unpainted temporary wall stuck up around it doomed to never come down. Absolutely no initiative was taken to fill empty spaces. If they would have simply put the outdoor shops they just built inside the mall they would have been just fine
I'm wondering what they've done/plan to do with all the nice trees they had growing in there. Are they just being bulldozed or would they survive being replanted outdoors?
good vid man , got an idea , you and a friend should vlog in a haunted area like a cave or a house and see if you can get some paranormal activity id say fuck with a ouji board but thats way too risky lol

Interesting video. Thanks for filming.
It's sad how the mall went down over the years. But I read in the news paper it is going to be turned into an open air mall.
Thank you for going where the rest of us would fear to tread. Be safe.
AWESOME FOOTAGE/EDITING. People in Martinsburg surely owe a thanks for your work.
are they going to guy the electrical room or leave it
Most of it looks pretty intact, except where the demolition has begun.
SWEET FIND
Kind of thought a redo, just by the way they were going about it, with the rest that much intact with some power still on.
interesting Video!

Bulldozed.
Good job getting in there. There's only a tiny bit left now!
Is it going to be totally razed or is it being reconstructed for a new development.
th24kid1 it's a redo. The gutted side will be a new party city anchor and the rest will be reopened with new stores
The person (or people) who left the flags behind are ... *head explodes due to anger*
This building could have been repurpoused for non retail uses. But the owners are too greedy to see the possibilities of non retail.
