I just did this job in January on my 2001 Sequoia. I needed to replace the knock sensors but after going through the difficulty to get to them, I then decided to replace the functioning starter as well as preventative maintenance measure. I don't want to have to dig back in there again! It was a pain!
Pretty sure the 01 doesn’t have the secondary air injection on the back, which was the hardest part of the job for me. I replaced my starter as well. Didn’t want the hassle of going back in. Thanks for watching!
Yeah those air switches or whatever they are back by the wireing harness is what took me forever, just did this. You've got the only video with this type of setup under the intake. Thank you!
