Wish Hasegawa would make a 1/48 PE-2. With crew. Yak-9 and Yak-3 would be nice too in 1/48.
Old Monogram or Fujimi crew figures with wheels up version would be perfection. Best cockpit detail is a pilot or crew.

На 9:40 - и кто этот красный бак увидит... на 10:25 я выглядит красиво, но работа только для собственного удовлетворения, мол "я то знать буду". Просто на днях собирал фипт 1/72 и расстраивался что половина деталей даром не нужны, потому как не видно их. Вот и высказался.

That is a simply perfect Pe2 Build. Beautifully done on all levels. Great vid as well.
I went out and ordered this kit right after watching this, got it a few days ago and boy am I excited to make it.
Although I assume you went by the instructions for the paint choice for the interior. I recently did an Eduard I-16 which said to do grey for the cockpit. However although I believe that is correct for the earlier pre-1939 I-16, the later ones were painted with more or less the same colour as the belly of the plane with the floor and seat painted whatever green the exterior used. I've been trying to do some research on the Peshka cockpit, but there sure isn't much.
When it comes to instructions and cockpit colours I've learned its always good to do a little research first.
Anyways none of this is criticism, just one modeler blabbing to another. Great build though, I hope mine will be able to live up to the quality.

There’s another version of the Pe-2 with the Shvetsov M80 radial engines that were fitted on a limited number of Peshkas instead of the incline Klimov engines shown here. There was concern that the Germans would bomb the Klimov factory that was close to the western front, so they turned to the Shvetzov engines as a backup.

Great, just Great, but BIG question: WHO makes the modeling stand that you are using? No-one seems to know anything about any kind of stand for use in aircraft modeling. Again, GREAT build; you put MOST of us to shame. David

I'm getting into this hobby of making aircraft modles and tanks Becouse I love aviation and military history dose any one have any tips for modle kits if you do pls tell me in the commit (and if you don't commit or like it's ok) :)
If you are a beginner i would recommend to get 1/72 scale kits from Academy or Revell , 1/72 in particular is easy to build to get into the hobby.

Did you not get paint masks with the Eduard kit?,you seem to be using your own masking tape?,nonetheless a fantastic build!.
I've only just come across your channel and am in awe of the great job you did on this model. Amazing details in all aspects of the build. I particularly enjoyed (and took on board some tips) the painting and weathering aspects of your vid. I was wondering what device/jig you rest your planes on when you paint them.....is is something you made or did you buy it? Thanks for sharing....will continue watching your work. Robert

Why use a pencil on the interior when you have already shaded with an airbrush and then give the interior a dark wash? Seems a bit redundant, but does it actually make any difference?
I learn more about these airplanes watching model channels than I do actual aviation documentaries.

As someone else has mentioned this already in Russian, the kit is from Zvezda. The PE, resin parts and decals are added by Eduard.
Of course you are right, this are Zvesda sprues repacked by Eduard

BF-110 was a heavy fighter/Night fighter and the PE-2 was used as a light/dive bomber. So no, it's not. :D

This guy loves to over emphasis Panel lines and rivets. Headmod, please go to an airshow or look at WW2 pictures! You hardly see any!
You mean this repainted in hangar standing and eyery day maintained WW2 planes on airshows?
The point is, because of the scale you hardly see rivets, panel lines and antenna wires. They're not that deep or protruding in real life. You make them as though they are.
Everyone has their own preference when it comes to panel lines. I personally use a highly diluted wash to make the panel lines stand out a bit more while not going overboard.
While darker and more visible panel lines are a bit unrealistic, they do look better.
