Thnks again Emgo for providing us another JTI. When going back to alt mode, the reason why the legs don't tab in securely is maybe because you fold in the legs slightly too much. By doing so, it prevents the back white panel to fit completely in the slots behind the "calves", therefore putting pressure underneath the red booster back. Hope that helps ;)
The official instructions are incorrect. They have you pushing the backpack together AFTER you push the afterburners up, except when you do that, the two halves won't lock together properly like they do at the 7:40 mark. Luckily this video was out there to try and help me figure out why.
Yes it does. You need to push the bottom part of the backpack up first, then squeeze the left and right halves together. 99% of UA-camrs are getting this wrong. The Takara Tomy transformation video shows it correctly.
Why are there two clips on those parts for the torso I was transforming mine and wondering why does anyone have any idea I mean the part might be the same one both sides so they had to put a clip on both sides to use it on either side but why wouldn’t they just mirror it
99% of UA-camrs are transforming this wrong. Watch the Takara Tomy transformation video to see the correct transformation. The backpack compresses more in bot mode. The bottom section must be pushed up first, before you squeeze the left and right sides together. Also in jet mode the panel with the Autobot logo should tuck under the lip behind it and clip in. It should not be flush.
Looks good...but not as good as magic square or Newage. Maybe as good. I'm grateful that you did this but I'm really disappointed in hasbro tacara etc when the two I mentioned look and function better in both modes with more accessories for FAR less expensive. I even have come to enjoy the tiny size..at least they're in scale with eachother. Okay I was wrong about the accessories in this case.
It's too bad he doesn't have a Gerwalk (half plane mode with only arms and legs out), like the original Jetfire (Robotech Valkyrie). That said, it's awesome having such amazing cartoon faithful versions.
My favorite transformers toy as a kid was the first jet fire. I didn't know what Robotech even was until my late teens.
