Hi Kalle,
I fully agree with you (I own the french version) but I suggest you for this and later other books to show us the table of content. That helps a lot to "grab" the spirit of a book and decide either to buy it or not ;)
Great idea this book review, love it already !
Bruno
Thnx Bruno, will do!
Love your videos. Just fantastic!
Cheers Adam!
Thanks, chief!
LOL ;o)
Thank you 😊👍
My pleasure!
It is way beyond my budget. Is there anyhow I can have the pdf version?
I think we need that book, to fall back on,, Lovely outlines. One for reference to look back on .. Thanks Kalle. My father was actually a rocket scientist.. honest. He was in charge of the Vulcan Bombers... his hairspring abilities were unbelievable... see ya Kalle. Thanks for all your help as usual..

@@ChronoglideWatchmaking Who can wait for santa!? And, he seems to think Im not behaving well. Atleast since I was a kid. 😂
LOL
Love your videos, I have been trying to find an English version of this for a while now, any ideas of who has one for sale?
Hi Robert, good to hear from you, i see them regularly second hand on Amazon and Bol. Good Luck!
Will you continue with this series “The Watchmakers Book Club”?
Hello! Very nice Channel! Thanks for sharing your knowledge! I want to ask you if you can make a video about different types of "hands drive types". I have a brac movement and I saw that there's not a cannon pinion. There is a wheel attached under the barrel... I can not understand how it can drive the hands.... Maybe the are different types of cannon pinion? Thanks
A very specific topic Richard, but you are right. The friction needed for handsetting can take place in different places in the movement. Usually the cannon pignon, but there are some exceptions. Interesting, i'll keep it in mind.
The book costs 160€ at Amazon. Too expensive for me. I’ll check a second hand …
i have the first édition of book in in french for many years, so it's a shame i have to buy it again, just for acces to the 40 videos included in this second edition
the e accent aigu makes it vwery francaise
Ik bedoel een playlist

An idea of a video I could use would be on cleaning watch parts at home. I have a sonic cleaner, but it doesn't do a good enough job. Sad face.
Excellent idea, I will record it within a few weeks Simon!
Good idea 👍😊
