  • Get ready to redefine your lifestyle as we unravel the complex world of toxicology with our special guest, Dr. Yvonne Burkart. Prepare to be enlightened on the intricate correlation between environmental toxins, reproductive health, and cancer. You'll also gain firsthand insights into Dr. Burkart's transformational journey to improved health through adopting a low-tox lifestyle. Let's equip ourselves with practical ways of controlling our exposure to toxins at home and at work, because surprisingly, we do have control over the toxins we come into contact with daily.
We then venture into the sphere of oral health and the often overlooked role of glutathione. With Dr. Burkart's guidance, we'll shed light on the association between glutathione levels and dental decay, especially in children. But beware, there are potential pitfalls when it comes to over-supplementing. Our conversation will also cover common causes of oral health issues, from an imbalance of microbes to mouth breathing, and the underdevelopment of the oral microbiome in children. It's not all doom and gloom though, we'll share tips on managing oral health through diet and lifestyle modifications.

Thank you. I just bought a stainless steel frying pan from IKEA, but it has a glossy, reflective surface as it says it's "metalized". Some of their stainless steel cookware doesn't have this shiny coating and are just brushed metal, so I'm wondering which option is safer. Would you know if the substances used to _metalize_ stainless steel cookware to give it a shiny surface are toxic or not?

I bought an organic bed. I was expensive but I spend a third of my life there.

I think that's a good idea. I saw an orthopedic doctor say that sleeping in a hammock is good. Who knows. Not like we can trust doctors.

I can't see a hammock being very good for you back. I don't think I could sleep in one. @@sweetbeep

@@booswalia ..I think all the muscles are relaxed. And it also said about the head being slightly higher. Also my personal opinion is that peoples faces get old looking fast when they smash their faces on their pillows overnight. Which I def do since I usually like to sleep on my stomach for some reason, not sure why

I slept on my stomach for most of my younger life, (about 40 years) but ended up with serious neck problems. Thankfully my chiropractor was able to correct them along with using a water pillow. (which I highly recommend) As for your head being higher it's probably a good practice. Maybe put a 2X4 under the legs at the head. And as for old faces. I've already got one of those. 🤣 🤣 @@sweetbeep
