The jobs spot on, the cost isn't too much, and the customer being satisfied isn't questionable, all would be more than happy with the results. It'll get pretty hot in there come summer 😂😎👍
Looking at moving into our new house and watching your videos has given me confidence do to more things around the house by myself. Thanks you for your guides, they are really helpful !
Excellent video Del as always. The craftsmanship and taking time to explain every detail, to complete the bespoke wardrobes. And the price breakdown of total cost has given me more confidence, to attempt a similar build in our house.
Really well thought out Del. love it when all the careful planning comes together, it’s nice that you have explained it so well as most of the time I don’t think people quite realise how much effort and care some chippies put in. So satisfying when it works as well as that.👍
Hi Harry🖐Appreciate your comment bud, as you're right about how much effort that goes into getting good results on jobs like this👍Thanks for watching 😎 Cheers Del
just discovered your channel. love your enthusiasm when it'll all sits in so nice. just like me, especially working on your won like myself. Could you provide link to the door kits etc? if any a job show the emportance of gettin gthe first fix framework right!! Love the work btw
Beautiful job del....liked both videos its different from the mainstream stuff you do....also the price I thought was less....for the amount of work, planning etc...thanks for posting appreciated.
Looks great - the time and care spent in the planning really paid off. Think the customer has certainly got a great deal for their money. Also given me a few things to think about the next time I look at sorting out room storage.
Thank you, I've watched many of your videos to "refine" my DIY skills 😀! It appears you didn't manage to 'master the computer' to get the link in to the door supplier 🤔. Thanks too for covering the costs. I hope you feel you can do that more - as guidance only of course - is there really anything to hide?
Hi Tony🖐Thanks for your 'promt' about the missing door supplier link, I will get that sorted as a couple of guys have mentioned it😬Appreciate you watching and thanks for your comment 🤩 Cheers Del
Well done mate . Great job very tidy. You deserve every penny as you take pride in your work . I have had tradesmen work for me and they cut corners and botch jobs and want silly money sitting in their vans most of the day drinking coffee and reading the Daily Star.
Ha, ha🤔I think the man of the house has the smallest wardrobe at the end, and there was talk from the lady of tge house that ALL of the narrow cubby holes were just for shoes😲Thanks for watching 😎 Cheers Del
Nice one Del, a real skill planning that all out buddy … I’ve fitted the same on a few Reno jobs … the doors can be a pain in the back side if the walls and floors aren’t plumb or level. Loved the using the inside carcass as a stop I’m stealing that one with pride mate. Cheers Simmo
Great video del, bang on the money mate, I would be the same. As for pricing in your vids it something I don’t do often but I have had so many people ask for costings on my sliding wardrobe door video.
Hey Del! Really enjoy your videos! Please can you let me know how one can hire you? I have a few jobs around the house and your quality of works looks impeccable!
Great job del very neat work as always .how much ajustment is on the doors on the level and plumb just wondering if either floor or wall was badly out of plumb or level in generally as your job the floor and walls where fairly plumb and level .😊
Hi Mark🖐There is huge adjustment on the bottom rollers to get the doors into the right position when shut, HOWEVER if the floor is out of level, the doors could look out of parallel with each other when they get slid across🤔Thanks for watching 😎 Cheers Del
What kind of bit holder do you use that screw stays in without falling? Most annoying thing when you have to hold something with one hand and screw falls out
Hi there🖐Bizarrely, my bit holder is actually not great at retaining the bit, which sometimes gets stuck in the screw head, bit it does have a good magnet which is what holds the screw in the bit before driving👊It was just a cheapy one from Toolstation👍Cheers Del
@@thetallcarpenter Love it, any luck with those wardobe door links?? I am starting to design something similar and would be great to see the choice and cost of these. Thanks Again!!
Ill huff and I’ll puff but i will finish building your wardrobes 😂 very nice job del, did you cover your time for all the planning and working out before you started ?
Hi Jim🖐As with much of the thinking/planning of jobs like these, it very rarely is included in the cost😬Thanks for your comment bud, and for watching🤩Cheers
Great Job, I feel Like you are selling yourself a little short with your day rate. Not many people these days take as much pride and consideration in their work as you do unfortunately and they make the same as the rest of us that still do.
Hi there🖐I'm pretty confident that I provide a great service for the money I charge🫡and I appreciate your great comment and thanks for watching 😎 Cheers Del
Hi there🖐Please remember that I have to take the VAT off that, plus pay for my van, its running costs, my tools (plus thier maintenance), plus I get no sick pay pay or holiday pay, or get paid for time lost due to bad weather😬Thanks for watching and your comment 😎 Cheers Del
@@thetallcarpenter as trades people we always end up having to justify are salary… yet there’s people making double what we earn no questions asked 😂 people are paying for years of training and skills and that should be enough. Keep up the great work 👍
@thetallcarpenter Same cost of getting to work, 20 grand in tools , diagnostics skills and equipment. It wasn't a criticism of what you earned just a comparison of how different trades are
@@TheOffroader7458 are you self employed or for a company? Heard some mobile mechanics are earning over £100k suppose it all depends on employed v self employed and what you specialise in. But the best thing about it all is the freedom of working for your self and lining your own pocket rather than a big company.
