Sorry but I'm not familiar with the wagons. The only thing I say is just follow the lead from the processor on the negative post of the battery. It should be a little blue connector like mine. I'm not sure though, sorry
in your video on the ibs functions you showed a few documents or screen shots of the actual BMW error ' trouble codes and possible solutions .. can you please let me know where or from what manual / site you were able to reference them from. ive been using my haynes manual and also my subscription through Mitchell online for my 07 328i along with my Autophix bmw scanner obd2 tool. im having issues with finding true Bmw error / trouble codes. any info you have will be greatly appreciated.. thanks again in advance... Robert, Have you checked your battery charge without the IBS being connected? I am receiving the same message "High Battery Drain" on my vehicle and I disconnected the IBS as you mentioned in your video. I checked my battery this morning with my multi-meter and the battery is at a low 11.30 amps. While I am not getting the message on my dashboard (hence the sensor was removed) the amperage on the battery is still going down, thus something else is drawing current from the battery, but the sensor is not on the battery to advise of it. Have you had any issues with startup since you removed the IBS connectors and also did you tested your battery with the multi-meter? Thanks
No issues at all for me but sounds like you have an actually battery drain and the IBS is doing its job. The drain could be anything including the battery. What I would start off with is to run the engine so that the battery has good volts. Should be around 13.8 when engine is running and around 12.2 volts engine off. Disconnect battery then check the next morning. If the volts are still above 12 you have something on the car drawing it down. You'll need a clamp on amp meter to read how much amps is being drawn and to isolate which circuit is causing it. If you don't have a clamp on you'll have to disconnect the positive lead and put the meter between that lead and the battery. Be aware that most multi meters can't handle a lot of current(amps) I would suggest a pro unless you are very good at troubleshooting electrical circuits. This is nothing to play around with. Best of luck
Check under spare tire wheel well.. bottom bottom !! if it's wet and you have mods in there (tpm & Bluetooth/satellite. It will also cause battery drain.. take those out with the long wire that is there already just put them to the left side behind the panel in a little nook where they won't get wet.. un do battery for an hour and reconnect (also - it will help to clean your terminals that may have gotten wet or ARE wet) there was a class action lawsuits because of where bmw put these things.
you just saved me you legend
This helps. Thank you sir.
Glad the video helped you

Hey Brandon, bimmerscan.com has a few codes. Go to 3:21 and 4:55 of my other video. It has the web site and a few codes. Hope it helps.
2e8d. Plus you need a programmer to run diagnostics on the battery charging system. Get a good scanner like a fox well

I wonder why my blue connector is not popping out that easily?
The first time would be the hardest to get it off but if you're not sure don't do it. Wouldn't want to rip wires out
Thanks for responding. I disconnected the connectors below it and it has been driving fine.
