Thanks for sharing this video. We just picked up our brand new Chic C Line I5.9 XL LE MB two weeks ago and absolutely love it. It is everything and more than how you describe it. Absolute luxury and a dream to drive.
@@theonemotorhome We picked it up 2 weeks ago and it’s everything and more than what we were hoping for. Love watching your videos, keep up the good work.
So much information and so well described!! It's luxurious and so much so! I loved the kitchen and the fancy lounge area too. It just got better and better the more I watched. Very exciting! You pick the best and thank you for sharing. I feel I love this channel!
Great vid thanks, loving looking at the Cartago's. Picking our Chic C Line i 5.0 QB L Superior up in next couple of weeks and cant wait to start the adventures. They are absolutely beautiful!!
My initial thought was "how are there not slide outs"? But, it is so much bigger than it looks from the outside. Our American rvs always have slide outs, but i am loving this rv!!
Available in the US? Here the RV builder would have added 2 or 3 slide-outs to this rig. But, as built, it really doesn't need any slides. This would be a snap to drive on North American roads which are so much wider than the roads in Europe. I like it. Perfect for a couple and 1 or 2 guests in the drop down bed. Where can I get one in America?
I love these big Motorhomes! I was wondering if you might consider a whole video of the top 5 Motorhomes 7m and under with garages. My husband and I plan on traveling alone through Europe, we have folding bikes and I would need an easy bed (preferably twin beds). Im seeing tons of large vehicles on your channel. I would love something that fits on our driveway. Thank you and I hope you take the challenge!!!
I like it, looks great all over. What everyone fails to mention is: How sleepable are the seats in traveling mode, when you're sharing driving duties and the other person who's not driving takes a nap while the other one drives? :)
Absolutely beatiful RV. I am on a market to buy RV in US. Unfortunately there is nothing close in this class. Great craftsmaship, fantastic design. Love it. Unfortunately you don't sell in US. What is a price range?
Gorgeous coach! Looks like marine kind of fittings. I wish it was sold in the US. Do these coaches only come with the grill or can you get a microwave?
It’s beautiful!!! I love it! If I had to choose one thing that I don’t care for though it would be the shower. It’s fine for a extremely skinny person but if you’re like me and weigh more than 110lbs, I don’t think it’s going to be comfortable in there lol. A few questions for you, does the front lounge area make out into a bed? And the front drop down bed, what is the weight limit for it. Like could 2 adults sleep on it or is it mainly for kids? Thank you for sharing this with us, I could live full time in this and be totally happy!😊
I struggle with the of size motorhomes such as this. It is undoubtedly superbly made and designed but, surely, you must be limited in how much you can use it, and where you can go ??!! With an up to 7 metre rv you can go most places a delivery van can go I.e. town centres, villages, country lanes that take your fancy, and parking is not too much of a problem. I can imagine that vehicles such as this don’t (or can’t) stray too far from major roads and in real terms can only be driven from campsite to campsite (?).
Hi Jonathan it's Graham & Glen from Cheshire. May we ask your advice please, we are considering a Carthago chic s line but not 3 axles possibly. Our question is we emigrate next year to Spain which would be the best dealership for us to buy and return too if any issues in uk. G&G. We have been told by one dealer not carthargo that anything upto 8 metres we will struggle to find a UK site to accommodate this size, is this correct or sales speek.
Very small kitchen area for the size of the motorhome - not a very big work bench. Also noticed that you had to duck down when you were under the drop down bed. Very nice motorhome. Have you done any episode's on the Benimar range?
Really not a very large fridge. Most RV's that I've seen lately are at least 17 cu ft, many are 21. I do like the bathroom, although the shower is a bit tight, & all the storage in the bedroom. I also really like the style, the high gloss is gorgeous.
These motorhomes as beautiful as they are, never provide any genuine kitchen bench space. Is it me or do all the Carthago's look the same inside. Very nice but very same, same. What's the bedding situation for a this type of bed? How does it work with different compartments underside? And for the middle bit? Then, the middle bit if converted to a full bed? Not a fan of the step in the shower, I imagine it getting tiring very quickly.
If you buy this then every day is going to be a holiday and if you don't want any more you can turn it back into money. Plus you guys build far Superior products that we have here in the US... Our stuff is cheaply made widely outdated and the companies do not listen to the customers complaints they just keep building them the same way.. the price they're asking here is nothing compared to what we would charge you for half the value
I have never understood why designers put a SOG outlet on the side under the awning. Must be nice sitting there enjoying the sweet aromas from the cassette. I try never to park close to a van with a SOG! They can be most unpleasant. And no underslung gas tank?
I bought a c line, the leather used is just awful. So the veneer leather cracks so easily sadly. Had problems with the knobs used, broke also very easily.
Laugh, I nearly pissed myself. It starts with the statement Rolls Royce of motorhomes. What total toss. Then the comment “ what a beast”, I write this sitting in my 45 foot long 5th wheel Toy Hauler. The RV is very nice but absolutely no comparison to the high end motorhomes made here in USA.
Kitchen is beautifully "decorated" BUT COMPLETELY USELESS!! For any kind of meal preparation and cooking. Poorly designed! "Cleverly designed little 3 burner stove" big enough for 3 small SAUCEPANS. You couldn't even fit a frypan on one of the burners to fry up some eggs, or a hamburger!! WHERE is the full stove with an oven??!! The sink is great for washing hands and dollhouse size dishes etc. The purpose of a motorhome is to live in it, temporarily/vacation or full-time. To live in it you need to eat, which means you NEED to COOK your meals, then clean up your preparation and cookware/eating utensils etc. Cooking something more than pizza pockets and microwave popcorn.
Come to my country the U.S and see the CRAP that we build,it's utterly disgusting compared to what you guys have, our stuff is more money and all you get is the same ugly white countertops with a single induction burner that you can't do anything with. The cabinetry is terrible we use staples and glue. You guys have fine cabinetry modern state-of-the-art styling, amazing colors. I'm selling everything I have to travel our country in the motorhome. YET I CAN'T FIND ANYTHING WORTH INVESTING MY MONEY IN. And because of the garbage that we have here nothing is selling. If you go to a U.S. dealership you'll see the same junk on the lot as you did during the last solar eclipse ! All of our big RV companies need to come to Europe to observe watch and learn how the UK and Germany build them.. if there's any way to purchase these things here in the United States please I would like to know !
Hi, I haven't seen many US motorhomes, so I can't really judge. However, Carthago is really one of the best for quality. I think you would have to purchase directly from the Carthago factory. I am not sure how it would work to get it shipped. Also I am not sure about the US tax ect. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment
It's okay for European standards, but to be honest, there really isn't a lot of storage for this RV. And I don't know why they went with the double beds in the back.
The functionality and build quality are impressive. But man, is that interior tacky and straight-up ugly. Looks like a bad first year interior design project.
For the money kitchen a disaster so small worktop space when the sink is exposed no space for a microwave wave unless in missed it Wow he said it has an electric TV got gas powered !!. No mention that you have to have a C driving licence can't drive it with a normal car licence Is the blind electric no mention Only 170hp very under powered needs a min of 200 or 220 even better owing to its weight Best thing it's Merc Powered Disappointed no slide outs You can't stand up under the front double bed Now do you get into this bed Why no skylight over the bed Shower far too small Very poor internal layout Near impossible to make the rear double bed has no walk round space. Impossible to sit up in bed to have a drink
@theonemotorhome not necessarily. I do it with a 1500w induction field which is fed by a 2300w inverter and a 300Ah lifepo. For bigger rv you just need to add some batteries and switch to a bigger inverter. Fresh energy can be provided by roof solar, I guess those roofs can easily provide 1-2kwP

Fantastic apart from the shower…🤷🏻♂️tiny in comparison to the size of the dressing area

Big van for a Huge Country!!!
Absolutely beatiful RV. I am on a market to buy RV in US. Unfortunately there is nothing close in this class. Great craftsmaship, fantastic design. Love it. Unfortunately you don't sell in US. What is a price range?
They vary depending on spec, this one was around 200k
Did I miss something..🤔or did you mention the size of the motor??
Gorgeous coach! Looks like marine kind of fittings. I wish it was sold in the US. Do these coaches only come with the grill or can you get a microwave?
You can have a big oven as an option. If you want a microwave you would have to retro fit it.
It’s beautiful!!! I love it! If I had to choose one thing that I don’t care for though it would be the shower. @@theonemotorhome awesome thanks
My pleasure
How would the wood/particle board hold up in damp environments. The whole RV looks like Ikea style cabinets. I like Ikea, but not durable?
Omg the video isn't showing you the quality then. You need to go and see one (they are awesome)
Ours C Series has just arrived in the U.K., the quality is outstanding, nothing like IKEA lol
Its a nice dream but a handicap in the U.K.due to narrow country lanes and access to the best sites are often down farm tracks.

Not sure if anyone noticed but the underfloor storage by the door is refidgerated. Enough room for two cases of beer ;-)
👍👍👍

What sort of licence do you require driving this thing when fully maxed loaded?
You would need a C1 licence that will allow you to drive up to 7500kg
how do you tie down items in the storage compartment?
You get tie down points in the garage 👍👍
Is there a bigger model? With bigger hourse power?
Not as good as the I 51 QB that is the best one I’ve ever seen.
Everyone has a perference.
For the price of these motorhomes, I expect a Black tank, not a cassette toilet.
They can find space for a Black tank.
We don't have the black tanks in the UK. Only on the American RVs

@@theonemotorhome ok, I'm assuming they would suit the possible configurations?
£130,000 would pay for a lot of luxury holidays abroad.
But at the end of the holidays you would have no money. When you decide to sell the motorhome, you get a really good return. (Just one to think about)
If you buy this then every day is going to be a holiday and if you don't want any more you can turn it back into money. Plus you guys build far Superior products that we have here in the US... Good call

The SOG system blows all the unwanted smells out of an outlet on the roof. 👍
Poor kitchen space. Very underpowered like many European Motorhomes
What license would you need to drive that vehicle.
C1 for this one 👍
How do I get a Carthago in the U.S.?

Oven? Microwave?
An oven is an option with these vehicles. And you would need to take your own microwave.

Too small. It Feels claustrophobic. Haven’t u seen any rvs in the us usually are bigger and have slides that really feels like home
I have seen them, they are amazing, however a little difficult to drive on the UK roads

Only 170hp very under powered needs a min of 200 or 220 even better owing to its weight
Best thing it's Merc Powered
Disappointed no slide outs
You can't stand up under the front double bed
Now do you get into this bed
Why no skylight over the bed
Shower far too small
Very poor internal layout
Near impossible to make the rear double bed has no walk round space. Impossible to sit up in bed to have a drink
Sad to see they till use gas for cooking. These days electrical power and induction can do that trick
This will only work when you are plugged in on a campsite.
That's why they stick with gas
