Great video, thanks I hope you got to keep all those bridges because this is invaluable to those choosing between Halon bridges. I like them all but I think Aluminum Bronze strikes a good balance. Brass sounds a bit too warm and bell-like -- I could see myseld tiring of that sound after a while. I liked aluminum and titanium too. They're a bit colder and more sterile, but it fits what I want from a Jazzmaster. Steel was good too, although I think the aluminum and titanium ones sounded a bit more interesting to me.
I love the brass it has much more bottom end althoug it’s hard to tell on a phone speaker. Yup looks like you’re right, I recorded it but forgot to include it in the edit 🫣
@@LordFuzzman dammit lol. Sorry I was being picky I was really wanting to hear it. I literally just ordered the telecaster half bridge with 7075 with aluminium saddles. I upgraded the stopbar on my 59 epiphone les paul to a Faber aluminum stopbar. Much more clarity, so I'm hoping to get the same effect on my American Pro 2 deluxe telecaster. Hopefully give those v-mod 2 humbuckers some more clarity like a proper WRHB.
@@kloon02 wasn’t a great deal of reverb. Just makes the clean a little less sterile on videos otherwise people lose interest with so many samples to pack in. But thanks for your thoughts.
I watched this video and ordered two for my jazzmaster and jaguar. Sustain and tone, design. It's all about the elements I wanted. goodbye, my ugly mastery bridge.
Yeah it’s very subtle and hard to tell on a phone. A bridge is never going to make a huge difference to the tone but there is a slight difference which is also part of the reason for doing a comparison. Upgrading the bridge for me is more about function, stability and sustain over tonal improvements. My other bridge comparison video covered those points.
Biggest thing I noticed about upgrading to my Halon Bridge on my jazzmaster was volume and yes the guitar functions way better. Strings resonate better. I was able to remove my neck shim and get my action lower without any bad buzz. Definitely worth it. I went for a steel Bridge with raw brass saddles. I have the Troy van leeuwen jazzmaster which stock brass mustang saddles so stuck with brass to avoid any drastic changes in tone.
That phosphor bronze bridge stands out the most to me. So wild how they all differ from each other so noticeably.
All are quite different but not a bad tone among them.
Thanks for the wonderful comparison.
I've watched this video three times. I think I like the 1060 steel most. Thanks for the comparison.
Great work! Thank you! Loved that Cure riff too!
Thanks, think you’re the first to recognise it 👌
Great video. I actually ordered a steel plate with brass saddles. Haris from Halon was very helpful!
I love Halon bridges!!
Thanks for the video ! I have ordered the brass one. Can’t wait to get it !
Educational and your passion is infectious, thank you.
Love the new intro ❤

IMHO the Standard bridge sounds perfect, titanium maybe the exception 😊
All about that brass
Awesome man. I have the steel Bridge with brass saddles. I love it. Did you forget 7075 aluminium in the last set of sound samples?

5:07 why does the phosphor bronze ring out sound so different than the others, upper mid emphasis or picking attack?
pelase comparison compton bridge and RSD
Nice video, but I would have liked to hear the bridges without reverb...

@@LordFuzzman no worries, still very Nice video!

Good choice 👌
Do you know if I would need to do any modifications to swap my mastery bridge for one of these?
You can swap the bridge without any modification
Thanks for yet another great demo. Does this bridge rock, or is it just designed to sit still?
Thank you. You can order either version 👍🏻
So you clearly displayed that Halon is MUCH superior to Fender's but so many nice tones, which to choose? 😅

@@LordFuzzman Actually when listening with earphones, you can clearly hear the difference in tone, kudos for doing a demo using clean sounds! 👏👏
