Just went on their website. They do NOT have a monthly subscription for 6.00. They have a 2 yr sub for $144, which comes out to be 6.99 over 24 months. That is not the same friggin thing as 6.99 monthly. They're actual monthly sub is $13.99. Kind of steep.
I meannn, yeahh. It really does work. It works extremely well actually!! Itll guide you within 2-4"!! However, this exact model keeps falling out of the plastic bracket for some reason. Then, when having to go searching the woods, weeds, or really high grass it's really hard to find. The tracker will guide and put you within inches, but it's hard very hard to find because of how small it is. There is a sound you can play and a small light you can turn on, but when it's in the woods, tall weeds or grass in the middle of the day, you'd never see that light and it could even be laying face down so the light just shines into the ground. The sound does help, BUT BARELY!!! It's not very loud, like AT ALL and when you do think you can hear it, you don't really know where the sound is coming from because it like "surrounds" you and you're just keeping turning in circles. It also resembles a similar sound to a chirping bird that is very far away and you can barely hear it. So, with all the real birds that are chirping and all the other sounds of nature, it's very hard to hear and locate it's exact spot. The battery also dies REALLY QUICKLY. So, when looking for it and using the sound feature to locate it, you can literally watch the battery just drain.. I had to use a metal detector last time because the battery was already at like 50% when I started looking and then it ended up dying within maybe 10ish mins of looking for it. So, when it's dead, the sound obviously doesn't work. The app still tells you and will still guide you to it's last known location, but after that.. you're on your own. No sounds to listen for, no lights to hopefully see. I STRONGLY recommend a metal detector if it falls off and is lost in the woods or high weeds or grass because it's very hard to see due to that and just the small size of it. It could trick you into thinking it's just a rock and you just look over for it. It will trigger a metal detector tho, sooo I strongly recommend you take one of those regardless of the battery status because the "finding" features to make it easier to find don't really make it all that much easier, lmao.
So. We found out something very strange: when we take our cat in, take the tracker off and then launch the app... It still tells our cat is moving around the area! Any ideas how and why this happens?
Hell yes a subscription! Its the only thing that makes this project viable long term. Paying people to keep the app and functions updated. Thats just the way it is...
I'm wondering if it ha a feature that notifies you when the cat enters a specific area that you want to know about? My cat wants to pee on the door of a particular neighbour who is really pissed off by that!
But the live does not work without Wi-Fi and that’s frustrating. For example today while I was home I could see on the live that she was faaaar away, as soon as I left the house I couldn’t use the live anymore so I had to go to the location where my cat was when it worked. The live works only with Wi-Fi and not you phone net
Mine goes offline just about every time our cat leaves! Half the time I can’t see where he is at while he is gone. When he gets home it will then show his history of everywhere he went. That doesn’t help us if we need to find him! The “Live” feature NEVER works when he’s out and it is showing KINDA where he’s at. It constantly says “no network”. We got it for a cat that will sometimes be gone for days and after a scare when we didn’t see him for 7-8 days we got this. So at the least (or worst) we could find and bury him. The devise is frustrating beyond belief! Especially after long lengths of time of no activity! Like when he is sleeping and then wakes up and dips out! It will show all signals while inactive and the moment he leaves and I look to see what direction he went, it will show he is still in the house and then it all goes red and says he’s “offline”, until he returns again and the history will show everywhere he was while “offline”! There is no way to “force” the signal to see where he is at that moment. Even the “Live” feature doesn’t work outside of the house and yard. When I can see and know where he is at!
Bought this, got premium care plan, worked for a day. Now, it is disconnecting from my Bluetooth for no fault of mine. My phone is a brand new iPhone 15 pro, I bought 3 weeks ago. The moment he leaves the house, it disconnects. I had to email Tractive. Still waiting. No number to call. We’ll see. What is frustrating is that none of the reviews cover issues like this.
Don't worry, I bought this with high hopes because the Amazon reviews were great but knew I would test it at least a few times before letting my cat out. Well, I'm done with this shoddy product and am going to start a return for a full refund. It worked at first but the next few test runs it just failed miserably. There's no way this product is that difficult nor should be that difficult to use.
My tracker only connects to Bluetooth when the tracker is close to the mobile, and by close I mean 20 cm, and not every time. The battery display indicates the battery is fully charged after only 1 hour, but then the tracker battery lasts 1 hour only. If you leave it charging overnight, you won't get more than 10 hours long battery life. Let alone using the live mode, which uses so much battery that lasts less than one hour. The light and beep for indoor search only works with Bluetooth, so useless. GPS signal is so weird, the cat is still and the signal is moving😢
Hey, just wondering if it has a beeper? We have a different brand now that’s not as accurate as this, but it’ll allow a beep so they know to come inside, does this have that feature or no? Thank you!
Is the collar retractable and how easy would it be for a cat to take it off? I have one in particular that always finds a way to take a collar off so had to stop trying to use one.
If fitted properly, I think it would be impossible for a cat to take off. But cats are escape artists at times.... We haven't had a problem with that though.
No collar with my order. I guess you have to buy your own collar, it was kind of deceiving since they never mention you have to buy one. Luckily I have 2 new ones, but they should stress this tracker doesn't come with a collar. A little annoying.
Ugh. We had two neighborhood cats we loved and took care of. It was a bonded male and female and sadly the female got hit by a car recently 😢(they even had kittens and we were lucky enough to find them all homes!) I’m so heartbroken for the male cat who lost his soulmate, I now want to ensure he has a safe a healthy life and have been debating this tracker the subscription part drives me crazy, but I get it….. Can I ask which subscription you went with?
Personally, this has been of no benefit to me at all. The battery doesn't last long enough. I get a good 3 days out of it. Even with all the basic settings, I can barely squeeze 5 days out of it.
Great video man! In terms of not being able to show us your phone, maybe consider screen recording your phone while you're using the app and stitch that video in with the rest of the review so they can see the app hands on
This product was fail for us. Cat Tracker with mobile app. Several false readings placed our cat in the road in front of our house when he was actually in the house. That'll get the adrenaline going. After 30 days use of constant incorrecdt readings and not accurately pin pointing the position of our cat once I tried to return and was told there's a30-day limit. The tracker, vest and subscription cost close to $200. I do not recommend this product. Next we tried Tile. Also showed our cat in the road when he was in the house. What's up with that? The strongest feature of Tile was the Chime. If you're close enough you can cause the Tile unit to Chime and zero in on your cat that way. Now we are onto AirTag. Didn't work well with our iPhone XRs. Users recommend newer phones and iCloud connection so we're going to upgrade our phones and try that. We live on 1.6 acres. The entire back yard, about 3/4 acre is fenced in with 7 ft high wood plank fencing. Which, of course, cats can climbe over. So also in the process of topping off the wood with spiked metal fencing.
If only I came to youtube to read reviews. I made the mistake of trusting Amazons reviews which now I know are definitely rigged. These comments prove it doesn't work and my experience can add to that pile. Did not work for me, going to request a full refund.

Don’t. Ever. Grab a cat by it’s tail. How dare you. Bond with him and he will come when you ask him. Grabbing them by tail is abuse. And if the cat gets “abducted” aka leaves, he has every right to do so and find a rightful owner that respects him.

One of the best GPS locators for cats. It's a pity that the subscription fee is expensive and that the device is a bit large. I recommend highly.
It's a pity, but you recommend. Got it. Guess you get what you pay for.
If you don't want to pay the subscription fee, just get yourself the bluetooth cat trackers. See how well that goes. 😂@@allaboutroofing2
