Painting a forest by Norwegian artist Elisabeth Svendby

An insight into my abstract forest painting process. I am currently in the middle of a new series of forest paintings, and am excited to share part of my process with you. There are still details and finishing touches to do here, but you get the general ide of how I work on these. I hope you enjoy it!

Merci de nous faire découvrir votre travail à l'œuvre. D'abord une explosion, un tohu-bohu de couleurs puis vient le moment où la blancheur des cieux descend à la rencontre du chaos originel pour le baigner et le nourrir de sa lumière. Celle-ci ouvre des espaces salutaires de respiration et offre aux couleurs une direction celle de l'élévation. C'est alors que le chaos chromatique s'ordonnance et devient canopée. L'immanence et la transcendance s'interpénètre en une symbiose apaisée et interprète en majesté un hymne à la vie.
Thank you for sharing your work with us. First an explosion, a hustle and bustle of colors, then the moment when the whiteness of the heavens descends to meet the original chaos, bathing it and nourishing it with its light. This opens up salutary breathing spaces and gives the colors a direction, that of elevation. It is then that chromatic chaos is ordered and becomes a canopy. Immanence and transcendence interpenetrate in a peaceful symbiosis, majestically interpreting a hymn to life.

Thank you for watching it despite the distraction. To me it's like dancing with it, so I love how I can move it around :) Maybe that helps.
