Thanks for making this, it was very interesting. I'm guess you still have some latitude within the camera setting to lower the recoding volume to avoid clipping. On my action 3 I've maxed out the reduction capabilities of the camera as my baffeless bikes are loud. I've found the battery life good, I like the colour straight from the camera and it copes with 4K 60 fps effortlessly, no overheating or lost files, unlike the awful crap overpriced unreliable gopro's
I have lowered the DB to minus 12 on the receiver and the transmitters, but I think that only works when you carry and link the mic to the receiver. This also means I have to transfer separate files from the cam and the, receivers audio files.......I'm not that techy, so I stand corrected?! I only carried the cam and the mic and blue toothed them together!!!! I will delve deeper as time passes. I'm loving the overall convenience of this setup compared to the Gopro....from use to downloading files. I have just edited the 4k video and in editing I lowered the volume levels. From watching it back the clipping seems to be negligent. Overheating here, as you can imagine, is an issue if in 4k and not moving......Cheers bud
@@davexs Yes I see what you mean about having to match up the sound files. I think you might like when you have no more corrupted files, and that gopro audio module was always another point of failure. Thanks for getting back to me, 👍

The cam footage is A1 dave but as you said the sound at speed is a work in progress and we all know you are a speed demon 😁
Hi Nev, cheers for that feedback mate.
As I'm getting older I have slowed a little, I don't bounce quite like I used to....haha
Take care mate
