The only way I could do that

AlexFeud, That's great that you found a method that works for you! Everyone has their own unique approach to woodworking.

For my 30x30 tramming consisted of installing a piece of aluminum foil between the Zaxis plate and the motor mount. That's a tiny shim but it's all it took.

laser31415, That's a clever solution! Tramming can definitely be tricky, but it sounds like you found a simple and effective way to get it sorted out. Happy woodworking!

I am very interested in the new drivers for the controller. I have had the long mill since Dec 23 and have yet to get it to run properly. Disappointed in customer service only by email with a 2 to 5 day response time. The controller does not move the router on the z-axis. I can’t even submit a service ticket without a video. How do I show that the controller does not move the router A static picture?

harveyalmarode, I'm sorry to hear about the issues you've been experiencing with your Long Mill. The best way to show that the controller is not moving the router on the Z-axis would be to submit a video showing the problem in action. It's frustrating when you're unable to utilize your equipment properly, but hopefully, the Sienci will be able to assist you once they see the video. Consider uploading the video to youtube and submitting the shareable link for the Sienci team to review. Hope this helps brother!

Thanks for the prompt reply. I am just so frustrated with the whole process I have taken it apart and check all the parts put it back together still the same thing happens. I will go back to the longmill and video tape it and see if I can get this working. I have a supplier for free wood I have had to drop a big walnut tree on my property and boy does it have some great small ovals and circles that I can saw out of the bigger limbs. I appreciate you taken an interest and replying. I will try sienci labs again

@harveyalmarode if I may make a suggestion... plug in one of your other stepper motors that you are sure that works to the Z-axis position on the board. If it works then use that motor and the old wires going Z and see if that works. What you are trying to do is figure out is it 1)stepper motor 2)wiring 3)board. It has to be one of the 3. Just narrow it down recording the steps as you go. As Garrett recommended upload that to UA-cam. It free and can be done with your phone easily. This is the proactive approach I would take. I work at PwnCNC in support so I can most definitely tell you the easiest way to get something handled is to take a proactive approach. The more information you can provide in the clearest way the faster things will go. 🚀
