Thank you so much for this idea to celebrate the life of your dear nephew! I LOVE the stepping stone and plan to make some of these to honor of our daughter Rachel who died in 2010. She collected clocks, flip flops, tulips, and buttons so I can have a variety by using just one of her favorite collections on each stone. Oh, and I can't forget the dogs, cats and fish as well.
Girl you got me crying, what a beautiful memory of your cousin Alec. Cancer is such an ugly disease it stripped me of my hair, I gained weight, and was so sick BUT in my darkest times I created and binged watched YOU. Thank you! You are changing lives and don't even know. I am now cancer free, started my UA-cam channel to pay it forward and know tomorrow is not promised so go get it right now. Much love and many blessings! x
Natalee, I loved all the projects in this episode. I especially loved what you did with the fish. As you were talking about your cousin, I had huge tears come on to me. I knew she would pull it off she's a Rockstar!!!
Yes she is!
I’m so glad you saved the best for last 💕 The story of Alec made me cry and your idea was perfect. Such a thoughtful gift for your aunt.
I can not believe u turned that garden bag into a concrete planter!!! 😳😳😳 that was genius and also so beautiful
Natalee you never disappoint--the Queen of Finials!!! Love all your projects!!! The stepping stone is my favorite----because I know it was done from your heart!!!! I know your aunt will love it!!
Concrete was a real success. Alec’s story broke my heart. My daughter got a make a wish in 2008 for a bone disease that she lives with. Over 90 fractures and she is more solid than most people that I know.
Oh goodness… Sending prayers for your daughter.🙏
@@designedtothenines always appreciated.
Prayers for you precious daughter 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 ❤️
Bravo, NataLee! The concrete project trend out fabulous. Amazing creativity! The Alec memorial stepping stone is quite touching. Again, exceedingly creative. Your Aunt Teresa will certainly appreciate your thoughtfulness and cherish her stepping stone. xo.

I just love 💗 the planter, shelf and lantern. Everything to be honest lol. But that stepping stone tore at my heartstrings 😭. What a sweet, precious memento for your aunt! Bless your heart, Natalee. You are a shining light in a too often dark world. Thank you for sharing! 🥰
What a beautiful memory and tribute to Alec, loved it ❤️
Wow! You brought me to tears with that memorial stepping stone! Your aunt will cherish this forever! I also lost a 7 year old son to Cancer.
I am so sorry for your loss 😢💕
Nat you have such an imagination... you're able to see beauty in just about anything ✨ I also agree the stepping stone had so much love I could feel it coming through the video 🙏🏾💗👼🏾
Natalie all were great, but the last one touched my heart. My son lost his father on Tuesday after a long battle with Lymphoma. He loved to go fishing with our son. This is so very perfect to honor his memory. I hope you don't mind if I use it. May your dear Angel be fishing in heavens peace.
I’m so sorry 😢. I’d be honored if you used it. 💕
I'm crying. What a beautiful tribute to your cousin. 💗 Great use of all the materials you were given.
I love what you did with the fish for your memorial steppingstone. I think your aunt will love it too. The first three projects were awesome! Great job Natalee!
What a beautiful Memorial to Alex and what he loved to do! You are the best Cousin ! Thanks for that Special DIY!
I loved everything!!! And yes I cried at the end. I am 62 years old and have supported St Jude Children's Research Hospital since I was about 7 years old.
You are amazing! I love this!
I loved every single one of them...but the favorite was the stepping stone. I cannot stop crying...I will be doing this for my brother who passed in Dec of last year and putting it out at our camp. Thank you for your inspiration!! ~Kim
NataLee this episode made me cry 😭 my sons best friend passed away from cancer - he had an inoperable brain stem tumor. His mom and I are still really good friends and now I plan to make a memorial stepping stone - as William was truly a special soul. Thank you for sharing your cousins story and for being so real & authentic.
Your stepping stone brought tears to my eyes! What a thoughtful gift! I know it’s been some years since his passing, but I just wanted to convey my condolences to you and your family! He sounds like a truly amazing person!
