    Kind of like GM Maurice Ashley’s TED talk while discussing using a ‘Reverse Engineering’ approach while working out candidate moves or calculation.

    This is really great advice - thanks for sharing. I got stuck in one of these today. (Won on time, but didn't really earn the win)

      Thanks for the positive feedback? Do you think we calculate differently against a 1200 than a 2000?

    • @tanadihensen73
      @tanadihensen73 Рік тому

      @@jessercohen Well, only think both moves are different, so the calculation is also not the same. So the calculation is the same over all players ?

    Know bugger all about chess. Can’t even castle correctly… but I managed to win. I don’t think what they are thinking much, I just use common chess rules. I can’t think that fast or advanced. Instead I just try to confuse them…. Works sometimes, especially for a beginner.
    Eg. In second example, I can’t think your advanced moves. I and perhaps many others would play rook to attack Queen, this unblocks the square for a Queen checkmate.
    As I said I wouldn’t be able to think to your level…

      Yes you can - your explanation proved that you can talk about a position, break it down and figure out the logical way to play

    I been binge watching a few of vids from this channel since just discovering it and I am shocked it has not blown up. Maybe the channel needs to do a collaboration so that it gets exposure from already established channels . Even reaching out to similar sized channels or channels that are not that popular but have more sub's will help. Anything to get exposure. Do a collab with CHESSVIBES or CHESSDAWG even GOTHAM. NO HARM IN ASKING.

    Никак. За мышление в шахматах отвечает комбинаторика, это участок в мозге человека. Он плохо развивается. Он врожденный. Если ты родился талантом, ты можешь рассказывать сказки другим, как ты трудился. Но это не зависит от тебя. Ты родился чтобы играть плохо. Потому шахматы это дискриминация, которая делает вас плохим игроком по причине вашего рождения.
