I like the idea of running AI models locally rather than in a cloud, but will anyone have a beefy enough PC to run the largest models? Will it be like having a mind in a box that you can talk to and which can do tasks for you? Right now people have workstations and high-end gaming PCs with powerful GPUs, but a PC built specifically for AI workloads is something relatively new.
This A.I. sell is pointless, Too expensive, only selling point is that you can be lazy and let a system do the work for you or use it to do something fun with it, as for battery life and speeds there is already pcs that can do that efficiently.

Why do you think NVIDIA valudation is so high. It will bring nothing for the average person. You dont need the APU to run AI. The only news that were presented was that MS will take snapshots of your display som you later can search that. Why? Then they showd pain with AI. You have to write the promt AND draw the picture. Based on what draw the AI will present a picture. Why shall you draw someting at all. But he most telling part here is when the man ask you why he need it you say if you have an AI Database 🤣😂
