Thanks guys! You have a great island. On the whole, we think it provides the best balance across the ABCs. Looking forward to the next couple of months here. :-)
Thanks so much! Indeed, the editing takes a lot of time, but it is worth it to share these terrific dive sites. Shore diving is underrated; so hopefully more people will feel comfortable if they know exactly what to expect. :-)
Great video with lots of valuable information! We're planning on diving there in May. Are wetsuits required for protection? I only ask because we normally dive the Caribbean with rash guards due to the warmer water temperature.
That depends on where you are coming from! :-) If you are from the US or other northern-ish countries, the water will feel warm and you should be fine with a rash guard in May. We have been here since December and we can feel the water getting warmer each week. Let us know how it goes for you. Safe travels!
Many thanks for this excellent overview of shore diving in Curacao! We just returned from a trip there & recognized many of the 'locals' you featured. Your footage is putting my own gopro footage to shame. What do you shoot with?
Very glad you enjoy the videos, Catherine. The Caracasbaai footage was all GoPro Hero 9. GoPro has terrific stabilization and captures color beautifully. That said, I switched to an iPhone in a SeaLife SportDiver housing over the summer so I could get better macro. (Well, ANY decent macro, really.) I also use Kraken Hydra lights. That's the short answer. I've been getting that question quite a bit over the last year and have committed to making a camera set-up video when we are home for the holidays. Keep an eye out for that. :-)
Thanks!
Wow, that is very kind of you! We're glad you enjoy the content. :-) Caracasbaai is certainly one of our favorites.
Thank you for sharing! Looking forward to seeing more.

Very well edited loved it
Thank you so much Cherlamie! Were' back in Curaçao for a while, so expect more. :-)
Well done and very informative. Do ore around Curacao please!
We will certainly make more when we visit next. It was super fun to do the Superior Producer wreck earlier this spring.
That's an incredibly informative video! Must take a lot of editing especially adding all the arrows and profiles 👍😊

@@TropicLens thanks for the info! We're coming from the US. I just wanted to know if I needed to pack my 1mil🤣
Try the Dive Bus. They were awesome folks to dive with
Indeed, they were very friendly and a great place to rent tanks across the street from Marie Pampoen.
