Man this gives me a major throwback to when I had my toy cars but they were all mostly all thrown out when we moved house. The main ones I remember having were MST-Suzuka but it was white, Hammered Coupe that was pretty much pink, Muscle Tone that was a khaki sorta green colour, Hyper Mite which I still have which has an army camo paintjob on it and Jet Threat 3.0 which I'm not sure what colour it was. I really miss having my toy cars though I played with them all the time as a youngster.
My favourite cars from this game: Sol-Aire CX4 Power Pistons Vulture Power Rocket Overbored 454 Muscle Tone Flashfire Lakester Arachnorod HW Prototype 12
Wow. At 4:57, I decided to boot up my version of the game and you're right, hammered coupe has understeer. As a kid, all I knew was that Surfing School Bus handled horribly and Vulture handled like an F1 car; I couldn't differentiate the nuances of most of the other cars. Actually, this video has made me decide to drive every car in the game again to see which one truly handles the best, it's been years since I've played velocity x.
Hi Revitup7. I used to play this game on the PlayStation 2 and Gameboy Advance. My favorite cars to use for Challenge mode are MS-T Suzuka and Overbored 454. Reason being is that MS-T Suzuka is the mascot of the game and Overbored 454 has the same amount of speed, but with better grip and stunt stats. Sho Stopper is good for challenges too since it’s a little faster than MS-T Suzuka and Overbored 454. My favorite cars to use for Adventure mode are Krazy 8s (Missions 1-11 and 13-14) and Vulture (Mission 12 to race Rupert). Here are some cars for drag race that are ideal: 1. HW Prototype 12 2. Arachnorod 3. Jet Threat 3.0 4. Vulture 5. Sol-Aire CX4 6. Greased Lightnin Here are my favorite cars that would be ideal for battle: 1. Power Rocket 2. Deora II 3. Hyperliner 4. Krazy 8s 5. Evil Twin 6. Lakester 7. Mega Duty 8. Surfin School Bus Jaded, Power Pistons, Splittin Image 2, Rigor Motor, and Shadow Jet could be ideal cars for Joyride.
I am impressed that many of these still have perfect chrome parts, the chrome paint they use in these cars gets rubbed off easily. Well, that's for new cars, I don't remember how sensitive the chrome paint in these used to be back then
Hey dude. I like your, Hot Wheels collection. The video game brings back good memories. I saw the same car models on eBay. My personal favorites are, the Sho-Stopper, the Super Tuned, the Flashfire, and other classic cars.
Actually there are even *more* cars that were left unfinished due to time constraints and some more from the GBA version that replaced a few of the ones from the console version (probably also being unfinished cars though given that the sprites look to be from the same 3D renders)
The GBA version also gives the boss racers different cars. Slick drives Screamin' Hauler Nitro drives Arachnorod Fastlane drives Surf Crate Rupert drives Maelstrom Belcher drives Super Tuned MetaCog drives Vulture Roadster Otto drives Shadow Jet
I think that it's a shame that several of these cars were actually retired. In all honesty, if they're going to retire those vehicles such as the Shadow Jet for example, they should retire the Twin Mill & the Rodger Dodger.
Sadly, people who buy hot wheels these days are grown ups, kids these days spend most of their time in the screen, raging at someone instead of doing something more productive, and collectors these days despise fantasy casting's except if it made their childhood or they liked the design.
If only the Splittin Image 2 wasn't sold with the rest of the Fireball Pack I would get it, since I have one of the cars from it, but I still might try since I love the design of Splittin Image 2, also they all had glow in the dark plastic used for one of their parts. I always wondered why the cars interior was weird until I found out it glows.
Love rewatching your old content man! By the way i'm the Neonek guy if you're wondering, it's just that my old acc got deleted, and i also changed my nickname a long time ago anyway Now i'm not sure if i told you but i'm gonna let you know just to make sure
No I didn’t know this and thanks for stopping by. We’re going to be releasing more hot wheels velocity x and similar stuff soon so you’re just in time.
I used to play the PC game but couldn't beat mission 14. Then I had disk problems with it so I thrown that away and found one on the PS2. I beat all the missions, challenges, and collected all the gears and bonus keys in joyriding. And I also found the hidden cheats in the challenges. And I pretty much beat this game in just 1 day.
Thank you. I consider things like this collection challenges. So fun to go to flea markets and other places on my own or with my bro and search for these like treasure hunts, lol. Working on Hot Wheels Beat That (2007). Another game that is fully collectible.
@RevItUp7 congrats, I don't get flea markets, or at least don't live near them. So most of mine are bought from eBay, which can be expensive. Look forward to your beat that collection.
Most of the versions are the First Editions, and I have most of these castings in First Editions or New Models versions. Those I had, but I'm still missing a few. At-A-Tude, Flashfire, that version of Splittin' Image II is impossible to find. Arachnorod was one of my most hunted cars. I found that version in a Wall Greens two pack with Phaeton.
Several of those Hot Wheels Velocity X cars did appeared in Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged, they're not identical, but you can make a Velocity X livery for the Velocity X cars
Yes Sir! I have made custom liveries or downloaded better versions for every single car that appears in Hot Wheels Velocity X and Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 together. Just reminded me that I was supposed to make a video about it.
Velocity X GBA Version of Otto's Minions Cars Slick drives Screamin' Hauler. Nitro drives Arachnorod. Fast Lane drives Surf Crate. Rupert drives Maelstrom. Belcher drives Super Tuned. Metacog drives Vulture Roadster. Otto Von Diesel drives Shadow Jet.
If you like hot wheels video games, Hot Wheels Beat that and the most recent one, Hot Wheels Unleashed are fun. I would play Hot Wheels Beat That on Xbox 360. That is a very nostalgic game for me too.

I just wish they would continue to produce them. Those cars were as important to the 80s and 90s as Roger and Twin Mill were to the late 60s and 70s.
@@RevItUp7, yeah, I agree. it's about money @ the end of the day.

Great collection! Love most of the original Hot Wheels designs. This is the best Hot Wheels game too.
So Deora 2, in this sense, was created before World Race, because world race was created the same year as Acceleracers; 2005

You can bend the wheels back on the mega duty really easy, I’ve done it with my blue one all the time.

Also I remember I tried to use the Surfin School Bus on the last mission, I don't know if I beated it.
I'm LOVE hot wheels
Ya know, ive never actually noticed it had a camouflaged paint job until now 😂
Your Super Tuned looks exactly like mine. It’s beat up on the decals and wheels. The paint on those weren’t the greatest

Slick drives Screamin' Hauler.
Nitro drives Arachnorod.
Fast Lane drives Surf Crate.
Rupert drives Maelstrom.
Belcher drives Super Tuned.

I wish more games were like Velocity X. Any recommendations?

2. Hyperliner (Sparky's Car)
3. Maelstrom (Nitro's Old Car)
4. Jaded (Nitro's New Car)

Deora II was in Micro Racers before Velocity X.
Could you do a Hot wheels Beat that complete collection.

Don't forget the Hot Wheels Velocity X (Gameboy Advance version)
Awful compared to the main game
What’s Velocity X?
An old game that came out in 2002. Has 33 hot wheels cars in it that carry weapons and there is a fun battle mode that is the best part of the game.
Deora 2 has the strongest armour
Hyper mite has the greatest grip
Prototype 12 has the fastest speed
Surfin School Bus has the best armour.
and Jet Threat 3.0 has the highest stunt
Are these cars worth anything?
