@Sullivan Reck yeah I heard over the years their was supposed to be 2 more, it sucks we haven’t gotten anything yet, for my childhood sake I’m not giving up hope 🤞
Another reason: The car detail: You wlll see thousands of times the driver shift gears, wich in my opinion, it's a nice detail, kids probably won't understand that, but for me that was one great detail
Fact: Nolo is somehow inspired by Keisuke, both are rather hot-headed and drive Rotary engine powered. For example, Synkro and High Voltage. On the other hand, Nolo's brother, Tone, is similar to Ryosuke. Both are great for a team leader and calm unlike the two younger brothers.
I guess that I'm not the only one who feels like their the only one in this fandom. To this day I still haven't physically met someone other than my sister or dad who has even heard of the movies.
D3ADgamerZ I would watch all of the movies in a day, nearly EVERY day. That's why it surprised me when I never met anyone outside of my family that had even heard of hot wheels movies.
The only two people I know that are fans are the ones I got into AcceleRacers. :D And for better or worse, we were all between 18 and 21 when I discovered the movies - which doesn't change the fact that I love them and the character development through the story.
Beautiful video, and some of my favorite childhood movies, didn't think these movies formed a fandom and actually have deep videos like these, it's nice to see my childhood wasn't just memories and a few things here and there. Great points in the video and I didn't even know about The Edge, learn something new everyday. P.S. Shirako is my favorite character, his music and chill attitude is always what keeps bringing back to movies and shorts, hell I even have one of songs on my phone, too bad no one will know what it's from, ah well. LOL.
I loved these movies as a kid and even more as an adult. I liked the details you put into the video. The only facts you mixed up was that Taro and Shirako are actually the characters from Asia. Kadeem is actually from the Sahara Desert in Africa. It was found out in Highway 35 when Banjee and Kadeem were driving through the volcano smoke. I believe Kadeem said, "When you have driven in a sand storm in the Sahara Banjee, this is nothing." Besides that tiny mishap, the video was well thought out.
@@artexjay Exactly. Chapter 20 of Battle Force 5 Fused had Vert's dad be like him, experimenting with cars until he ended on a battlezone for years, *very much* different from the militaristic man that we knew in AcceleRacers
I am so glad I discovered this video - I loved Highway 35 and Acceleracers when I was a kid, and seeing this not only reawakened some old memories and nostalgia, but even made me appreciate it a little more. When I thought about it from time to time a few years back, I thought it was probably just something meant for only kids that, while good, didn't go that above and beyond, but looking back, I now realize it was a lot smarter and more interesting than it needed to be. It could've easily just been an advertisement for Hot Wheels toys, and while it still was, it was really entertaining and good in its own right. I was insanely upset that we never got a fifth movie and an explanation of what the ending of The Ultimate Race was all about - there was so much I wanted answered. I'm also a bit surprised you didn't mention a certain plot point when you were talking about the really dark turns the series took - I get that you were trying to avoid spoilers, but I think all you would've needed to say was "Kadeem's story arc", and you would've pretty much perfectly captured it.
coolcat001100; actually the movie you are talking about that might answer the questions left behind by ultimate race would be movie number 6, not five because of Hotwheels world race counts as a Hotwheels movie, for a grand total of 5 all together, but yeah I agree with you
Speaking of sequels.... Who else is DYING that they left off when things got good/When Vert found that HIS OWN FATHER was working for the Silencers...o-0 wtf!?!!?!?!?!? C"MON SONY!!! Bridges aren't gonna build them over the clifhangers anytime soon. also I know legit EVERYTHING about these movies. So, your not alone in the fandom
this is awesome you are a girl and you love the movies, you're not really alone, when i knew there's no acceleracers 5 or more i made myself crazy, like writing about acceleracers and highway 35, these movies are the best and i'm very happy too that i'm not alone
Aww well I'm glad that I made you happy! Don't worry, there are lots of girls out there who love Acceleracers! You just gotta look! Thanks for watching! :D

Thank you! I love these movies deeply and I'm gonna try and get my girlfriend into them too! Though to be fair, Acceleracers (and I think World Race as well) was aimed more towards the 12-18 year old crowd. After all, violence, themes of death and in one case, torture? Yikes! Still, loved it to death!
for a kids movie ultimately made to sell toys, this has made everyones childhood amazing, absolutely loved growing up to realize that this movie has better writing than the latest fast and furious movies lmao
Great video, I'm glad I'm not the only one who remembers how great these series were. I grew up watching acceleracers on TV as a kid. Vert is and always has been my favorite character of the series. I love the race car designs and I tried to recreate them in countless video games. I still watch all 4 movies and Highway 35 even to this day. I wish that they had made a fifth movie to answer that Cliffhanger ending. Maybe one day that will happen. Wisdom is a circle, what you receive you must also give back
THANK YOU!!! This video should be watched by everyone who questions why most of the Hotwheels community has a negative view on BF5. It's not that we didn't like it as a whole, it's because of the consistency from Acceleracers into it, plus all the weapons and gizmos and martial arts fights every episode...
honestly as a kid I remember when I got my hands on all 5 dvds (hwy 35 & acceleracers) I would binge watch them like crazy and to this day I still love the movies and as a person who loves cars and racing I love the fact that the director didn't push the actual racing to the background like it was an afterthought
Oh yes! I agree with everything you say here! Oh, and yes, Battle Force 5 was the WORST! I remember, back in 2008, when I was 8 years old, I was looking up "AcceleRacers 5", "AcceleRacers 5", desperately, desparately, DESPARATELY! as I agree that it was dumb to not finish accelecracers. I grew up on both and liked both once I got over that bf5 was sadly not a continuation I thought of it as its own entity and kept an open mind. I really loved it
I recently came across a video that explains in vivid detail how Banjee, Dresden and Alec Wood are the other silencer drivers, it makes too much sense, which definitely makes the ending of the series very interesting. Thank you for this video 🔥
You're not alone! I really loved these movies since I was a kid, and even now. I guess the only thing that could really finish this series is a kick-starter of an independent group of animators informed from the writers of these movies. It would be an unofficial ending, but an ending intended by the original idea.
With the Hot Wheels expansion coming to Forza Horizon 3 my love for Hot Wheels really kicked in again and with that my Acceleracers obsession came too... I can't wait for the weekend to watch this all again one after another :')
Every Saturday when YTV channel was featuring hot wheels acceleracers, not a moment was wasted that I would spend each weekend watching them, to a point where I finally have all 5 DVDs. One part of my life is complete
I didn't see World Race until I was 8 or 10, I'm now 19 and I still love the movie. When I found out about Acceleracers, I was a bit if-y and stayed away from it, but after hearing this, I think it's time I gave the full series the binge watch it deserves.
Amazing video, really underlines the best qualities about these movies. As someone who grew up with these movies it’s great to see that there are many others out there that absolutely loved these films. I see other youtubers still posting about these films.. in freakin 2018!! Really gives me hope that they’ll (hopefully🙏🏽) eventually make the correct decision & finish the series off.
YES! I'm not the only one who knos about Highway 35 and Acceleracers. Not to mention all the info for both scieries, and having this great erra of Hotwheels in a special place. 😀😎🙃👍✌👌🤘🚘🏍🏎🚗🚘🏁
I watched these when they came out. I'm a fan of this series too. I grew up with these movies and thought I was the only one as well. Fellow fans have found each other.
"Son, we need to talk." I was 10 when I first started watching the Acceleracers series on CN. Now I'm 25 and I still remember those exact words coming from Vert's father. Talk about the ultimate cliffhangers of the century.
The character writing was actually really good, the characters all had realistic reactions to pretty much every scenario. The cast itself was diverse, but it wasn't forced diversity, it felt natural and realistic. The female characters weren't "strong" in the sense the word has been given today, they were well written, just like the rest of the cast. How did a 2005 children's series do character writing than many modern, high budget, hollywood movies can today? I seriously wish the series gets continued eventually or we get some closure. This was my childhood and i'm very much disappointed in the complete lack of an actual ending.
Overall, pretty good summary for why this was an entertaining series. One thing I wish hadn't happened, though, was sidelining Kadeem. He was such an awesome character in World Race, and I was bummed with what they did with him. Also, another major thing that made this series so fun were the awesome car designs. Acceleracers definitely released some of the coolest looking cars known to Hot Wheels. :)
I love these movies! they're some of my favourites ever. I've had and loved them for my whole life, at least of what I can remember... It could just be nostalgia, but I really love it. It's the exact series I always wanted... Probably also the reason why I grew up to love cars and racing and stuff now. also, battle force 5. WHAT DID YOU DO TO VERT
So growing up I've always been into the "car scene" in late elementary - early middle school had these movies and then grew with fast and furious movies, anyways I'm part of a car crew and one of my decals is a teku logo XD, I'll show this video to the crew later to show them what my child hood car influence was! Thanks for the video
Straight up going to my favorites list. I loved the Hotwheels series by Mantel Entertainment and was so upset we never got a proper ending to the series and there were afew unresolved plot points that would have needed the last two unreleased movies. All the same, I go back to old videos and realized how much love was put into the plot, characters and themes. It makes it so much better looking back at it all and knowing this was so much more than just a bunch of cool looking cars (which they were lol sling shot was my favorite)
You’re not alone. I also watch these movies back when I was 13 and 15. Even when Battle Force 5 was on, I still had hope for the next Acceleracers movie. Does anyone notice that the only ones who never use a Accelcharger was Monkey, Porkchop, and Wild.
Kadeem is Middle Eastern. Taro is Japanese. Shirako is probably Japanese. Nolo is... Hispanic...? Maybe? Tone was his brother and was very Hispanic sounding and looking. Tork is African American
You are not alone I loved these movies. I loved them so much that I planned to make a script for the 5th one when I knew it was cancelled but I couldn't bring myself to finish it. Who knows they may continue it some other time. Until then I will enjoy what they gave us.
Your not the only one in this fandom. I love both of these series but I grew up with High Way 35.(I didn't find out about Accelaracers till much later.) I even collected the cars based off the film. Although I feel I'm the only one who remembers the MMO Planet Hot Wheels.... THAT WAS MY CHILDHOOD. I can remember buying the High Way 35 cars and putting in the codes that came with them on the website and unlocking and playing with them in the game. I miss Planet Hot Wheels... and this series.
Your editing is pretty good! I've subscribed to you! Also, I'm a big fan of the Hotwheels AcceleRacers series and it's awesome to see someone else who has the same feelings for it! :D
OfficialBlaze You're welcome and me too! I'm actually thinking of making a CinemaSins (Everything Wrong With [insert movie here]) parody of all five Hotwheels movies xD
OfficialBlaze Thank you!! By the way, to make a statement on this video, I do feel a little bit sad that the 5th and 6th movies were cancelled, but then again, it does feel kind of right for the series to end where it's at because... how would they continue? Gelorum and the drones are gone, GIG and the Acceledrome were destroyed, and the Teku and the Metal Maniacs put aside their differences and became friends... the only thing I didn't like was how it ended on a cliffhanger (and once you get to know me, I hate cliffhangers) O:
Zip Zap did they collect all of the charger cards? I don't remember. They could've shown the rest of the races they didn't show, extended the Silencers' backstory, ect.
Always loved Banjee. His fuckin jokes my guy. His one liner abiut forgtetting to pay the light bill made me laugh and shit as a kid. devastated when Ignition showed his car in the swamp realm then watched a video that said he was part of the silencerz. Glad that that got cleared up.
These films are bomb as f*ck, were the life blood of my childhood, thank you for explaining that in pristine detail. I'm upset about the missing two movies but not at the same time, where they left of was the best/worse cliff hanger ever!!!!!!
even after so many years after these movies were released and yes i am a girl as well and i loved watching the 5 Hotwheels movies since they were apart of my childhood and now in 2018 and my only wish is that this series was picked up again, even by today's animation standards it could work and revive a spark for fans and answer some long forgotten unanswered questions. but Banjee's cheesy one liner still cracks me up even to this very day
Wow. I'm really flashed right now because of how awesome this video is! After seeing it I instantly subscribed. I'm a huge AcceleRacers fan myself and I'm so glad I found your channel. Great list and wonderful video! Keep up the good work!
I absolutely loved these movies when I was a kid. Came to respect them more now, even before watching this video. Also watched through them all again because why not.
I subbed ONLY because I'm not the only one in this fandom and this video is great! you should so acceleracers theories, but avoiding the ending theories.
wow this was mad long ago that you uploaded this and i'm pretty late to the show but I gotta say this series was my childhood. I watched the world race every day pretty much when I was in pre-school and I watched every acceleracers many times each as well. I was devastated when the "final" movie ended with a cliff hanger and then the rights to the series were sold. It may have been for kids but to be honest the storytelling in this series is better than a whole lot of entertainment released today
I was told the reason they look like that is to express how rough and tough they are, they go on races that are life threatening and make it out alive showing they are tough but they crash a lot and lose a lot of cars and have to repair or make new ones showing them how rough they are
Awesome video, subscribed! I loved this series as a kid (I have all of the cars from both movies plus a hyperpod and drone sweeper), and I still watch them! Too bad Kadeem was my favorite character.. And what the drones did to him, oh god. It's brutal, trust me. It could be the darkest thing in the movie franchise?
Still hated the cliffhanger at the ending
we need to talk those last words haunt me like a ghoste

We need this 5th film badly!!!!
And then a proper conclusion. Bf5 isn’t cutting it.

I love these movies
I rewatched them so many times
Too bad we will never get to see the 5th and 6th movies 😩
Great content!!!!
Im subscribing
I thank this franchise for setting me on the path to becoming a mofo with a need for speed, just last week my go kart topped out at 55mph
Jose ricotaconachoquesadillamandillajones 245 more to go
I'm glad I'm not the only fan...
1 ''Cons'' of the movie:
It never continued or finished the series... :(
Vert is my favorite character in world race but in acceleracers shirakio is my favorite character because of the baseline and deroa ii
God I loved acceleracers, I guess we can only dream for a 5ft and 6th
Carma & Taro
"They kind of iced over that."
*cut to Ice Realm incident*
Nostalgia hitting HAAAAAARRRRDDDD!!!! The toy cars were great on the track too.
"Son, we need to talk."
I was 10 when I first started watching the Acceleracers series on CN. Now I'm 25 and I still remember those exact words coming from Vert's father. Talk about the ultimate cliffhangers of the century.
I remember watching these as a kid. Imagine my surprise to see there's a fandom for it.
thank god someone else knows about this wonderful series, I've loved it my whole life. where my acceleracer fandom at?!
dont worry ive watched these movie multiple times and i want nothing more then for them to come back
I love these movies! they're some of my favourites ever.
I WANT MORE MOVIES!!!! *CRIES*
Kadeem is Middle Eastern.
Taro is Japanese.
Shirako is probably Japanese.
Nolo is... Hispanic...? Maybe? Tone was his brother and was very Hispanic sounding and looking.
Tork is African American
Son(y), we need to talk...
Ok your buggin that feel sudden force under the pressure is catchy af
yeah as a kid i loved all of these hot wheels movies and yes that sound track was great
thank you for making this video i have loved the acceleracers for years and still have and watch all of the dvds
+Adam Demichael Of course! Glad you enjoyed it! :D
Your editing is pretty good! I've subscribed to you!
Also, I'm a big fan of the Hotwheels AcceleRacers series and it's awesome to see someone else who has the same feelings for it! :D
Thank you so much!! ^_^ Glad to find another fan of the series!
OfficialBlaze You're welcome and me too! I'm actually thinking of making a CinemaSins (Everything Wrong With [insert movie here]) parody of all five Hotwheels movies xD
***** That'd be really interesting! I'd certainly give it a watch! ^_^
I'm upset about the missing two movies but not at the same time, where they left of was the best/worse cliff hanger ever!!!!!!
even after so many years after these movies were released and yes i am a girl as well and i loved watching the 5 Hotwheels movies since they were apart of my childhood and now in 2018 and my only wish is that this series was picked up again, even by today's animation standards it could work and revive a spark for fans and answer some long forgotten unanswered questions. but Banjee's cheesy one liner still cracks me up even to this very day
this is an animated series about racing and it is not flat it goes over the top in the best way
Never knew they working on a 5th and 6th it gets me really excited to know what could have been
Wow. I'm really flashed right now because of how awesome this video is!
After seeing it I instantly subscribed.
I'm a huge AcceleRacers fan myself and I'm so glad I found your channel.
Great list and wonderful video! Keep up the good work!
*when I was teenager and finally finished the series, I was like....THATS IT I need answers!*
Wow I remember them I'm going to go back and watch them again.
I'm 26 and I'm a fan! Loved this video review!
I absolutely loved these movies when I was a kid. Came to respect them more now, even before watching this video.
Also watched through them all again because why not.
I subbed ONLY because I'm not the only one in this fandom and this video is great! you should so acceleracers theories, but avoiding the ending theories.
Well thank you! That means a lot! And perhaps, it sounds very interesting.
I'd love to edit the Acceleracers movies and put some eurobeat into it. *
11:28 his wheels have no studs how does he put on his rims??
Magic
That drone technology
Self tappers. 💯
wow this was mad long ago that you uploaded this and i'm pretty late to the show but I gotta say this series was my childhood. I watched the world race every day pretty much when I was in pre-school and I watched every acceleracers many times each as well. I was devastated when the "final" movie ended with a cliff hanger and then the rights to the series were sold. It may have been for kids but to be honest the storytelling in this series is better than a whole lot of entertainment released today
did anyone else in here that is an acceleracer fan collect the cards
I loved this series so your not alone, I'm hoping someone picks the series back up and does a good job with the last movies
I love this series so much, Just re-watched it too
I saw these movies growing up and now my group of friends might name our crew the teku XD
omg I love this, it brings back so much nostalgia
I am thoroughly pleased that this has almost 17,000 views. You're not the only one :)
I never watched the second Film but the First World Race Movie Was My CHILDHOOD!!!!!!!!!
I was told the reason they look like that is to express how rough and tough they are, they go on races that are life threatening and make it out alive showing they are tough but they crash a lot and lose a lot of cars and have to repair or make new ones showing them how rough they are
I don't care what anyone says, Vert Wheeler is the true World's Best Driver of Hot Wheels.
Even after sony bought the rights to hotwheels, vert still is... BF5 is not connected btw
