I often think about how dangerous cemetaries are with open graves, loose stones and of course humans with nefarious intent! I surely hope you tell a friend/family where you are going.
And pretend to transmit live
Cual es la tumba más antigua que viste. La mas vieja. Mostrala por favor.
I used to live moseying around old graveyards - but not now!!
That was scary Dan, you just don’t know what these people are carrying and are capable of. Please be careful.
Every time we walk with you I am reminded how many children died young. It's a wonder that the population survived. Be safe.
Please, carry a personal alarm. They are so loud, it would scare someone up to no good. Thank you for this walk today!!!❤
Baseball bat is better.
@@stacewest1442 I was once told if you carry a baseball bat make sure you have a ball with you so it's not classed as an offensive weapon! 😇

The tolkiens buried here are his paternal grandparents and uncles/aunts. His mom is buried in Bromsgrove while his dad is buried in South Africa. JRR is buried in Oxford.
There's so much history in these cemeteries. Glad you found Joseph Chamberlain's grave. This cemeteries is a bit scary, but the tour is awesome.
I was robbed in Galveston, TX in the old cemetery. Thank Goodness I was far away from the truck. When I got back someone had used old broken tombstone pieces to break every window out. I had hid my purse inside which was so stupid. Everything taken out strewn about all my money/cards gone. I had stopped there because I'd wanted to read some stones for years. My goal was to go to the beach but it started raining. I changed up plans to go to cemetery. I'll never do that again.
Yeah I learned the hard way too years ago, never leave your purse or wallet or money in your vehicle. No matter how far or how long you stray from your car. I used to leave my wallet in my glove box everyday at a job I had at a small warehouse. One day my wallet was stolen. Luckily I only had about 30 dollars cash, but my license, pics and important stuff in it. Luckily (again) someone found my wallet couple days later in a trash can at a gas station a town over. Everything was still there minus the cash. So sorry what happened to you that's awful.
Thank you for the stroll through another beautiful cemetery. The ivy and the fall colored leaves everywhere just add to its beauty.
You're welcome Michelle
I think he was after your GoPro Dan, an addict if ever I saw one 😬 he would get that sold within an hour to get what he needs, take care of yourself x
That was an eerie cemetery to begin with and then you throw the bicycle guy on top of it. It becomes completely unnerving.
my great grandfather was buried in a mass grave there in around 1920,i was looking to see name but no luck. your videos are facinating x
I got a creepy vibe there, I’ll bet you did as well. At least you showed respect reading some of the departed peoples names. Thank you for the tour, and of course, keep safe. 😊
Alfred Bird is buried there. He invented the custard powder.
Such a beautiful cemetery, so much history in it. I enjoy your walks, but as others here have said, please be careful. The dead wont hurt you but the living will.
Hello Dan. Another fantastic video, thank you. Please be careful out there, you should carry some sort of alarm with you.
There are no pauper graves at this cemetery. The info sign stated that everyone had to pay and “mass” graves were just an affordable way for mid/lower income people to be buried. Not everyone may have their name on the stone as that cost extra.
It said on that notice board that they weren't 'Paupers graves' as everyone had to pay 2:10
"The ivy needs a haircut" ha ha
Where did he go? He was so suspicious! You must have nerves of steel. He was definitely creeping around you. What a place but I enjoyed the tour, if it’s any consolation.
Illegal gimmegrant as I call them 😂
That green arch around Elizabeth Moore’s tomb is an architectural design called “Egg and Dart”. There are a lot of painting frames with that design.
On the edge of my seat!❤❤❤
Probably a dealer waiting for a customer or vice versa . Probably scoping you out to see if you were police.
100% disrupted a drug deal and you would of been mugged if you been further away from the exit at the time. YOU WERE ON THEIR RADAR LONG BEFORE YOU WERE AWARE OF THEIR PRESENCE. GOOD VIDEO THOUGH AND GOOD CALL TO MOVE ON WITH OUT LOOKING SCARED OR IMTIMIDATED.... WHICH MIGHT BE THE REASON YOU'VE STILL GOT YOUR TECH. ANY ONE ESLE THINKING OF DOING KEY HILL CEMETERY THAT IT IS IN HOCKLEY - 2nd HIGHEST MURDER RATE IN BIRMINGHAM AND BEST PLACE TO BY YOUR CLASS A's
But they are not forgotten now @ 3:00 you have remembered them on UA-cam 👍
A beautiful and interesting autumn walk... in
this Birmingham cemetery...... reflecting the history and culture of a country...
Dan, your tour was wonderful and thank you so much for sharing. You be careful out there with those types of people, because you just don't know what they'll do. Also Dan. I was wondering if that name Starkey that you saw in the cemetery was any relation to Richard Starkey, also known as Ringo Starr.
Sad and gloomy cemetery. But that could be the weather too! Too bad people feel the need to set up house on the historic graves of others. And you dare not say anything for fear there is retaliation. Be careful out there Dan! Thanks for taking us through it though! 😁
Tolkien and his wife rest in Wolvercote cemetery, Oxford.Their stone lends well for rubbings. Their son is a few rows behind.
Also in Oxford at Holy well cemetery, lies Theophilus Carter (who Lewis Carol based the mad hatter on) there too is Kenneth Grahame, first plot just as you enter.
That was a creep grave stone face!😮 always enjoyed your adventures!😊
Creepy looking but in a very beautiful gothic way. Love the old cemeteries with the old gravestones and old stone structures.
He's delivering a certain substance to his clients.
That was a very cool cemetery. Love how old it is and the way it looks. Great walk!
Lots of unique stones once again. Man I feel for you some of these places have some real dodgy people around stay safe.
Sadly in my area of Scotland the old war graveyards get vandals by youths knocking down the headstones and making ramps for their off road motorbikes
Seriously? I live in Aberdeenshire and I'm not aware of anything like that here. That's grim 😕
@@g.m.4877 old graveyard in Motherwell Lanarkshire
@@alexblue6991 They should be ashamed of themselves 😠
Cool cemetary! I can't imagine sleeping in a cemetary ( referring to the Gentleman there with a Tent). At night there, I will bet he's a little freaked out!
I know right, any noise and I'd be shook. Imagine someone touching the tent at night, not for me
If you're homeless youll take any little improvement you can get and bugger superstition. At least in the cemetary I'm betting he doesn't get moved on, so worth it just for that.
the chap on the bike was probably picking up or dropping off drugs. we used to have a local lowlife who would ride around with a rucksack on his back, hiding bags of drugs in trees for his 'customers' to collect. he might have been hanging around waiting for you to go.
This graveyard is really creepy.
Awesome walk tour
Patiently waiting here as well. Reminder is set….
Lovely place to visit Dan. Stunning
gosh, for a minute there, when you stopped to look at the public graves , near the catacombs, i got excited. i thought i might see where my great great grandfather, john keen is buried. he died christmas day, 1899.
We have to worry about you all the time, please take good care of yourself!!!
Thanks for worrying about me, I'm a fast runner so don't worry too much :D x
@@deadgoodwalks then I want to believe that....
Yes, why does he make us worry about him??
Hey I was here 2 weeks ago filming and ended up being there way too long and it was dark as I left 2 men went walking thro so I hid camera then literally as I stop filming put camera away as I was a bit nervous a man appeared from from behind me and then offered me drugs 😮 scary
Can't wait to see it. Hope you didn't get put 6 feet under or anything!
Kinda doubtful unless he posted this from beyond the grave ;)
That's one of the reasons we watch, isn't it? The hope that there will be some bizarre sign of what lies beyond?@@catzkeet4860
@@catzkeet4860 😁🙂👋👣
First rule of dealing with dodgy dingos loitering around cemeteries...
Muggeth the bugger before he do muggeth unto you.
😜
Ket Hill is lovely, dark, and haunting.... I love it!
man, u need protection.
Imagine walking along the bush with a torch on. Surely, predators will be attracted. You need something to scare the shit out of them.
You are walking along the spiritual realm, and for sure, there are predators around. Please be mindful. Much love and respect. I love your work.
That last stone lady gave me a weeping angel vibe (Dr Who) 😊 don’t blink
It's a beautiful but eerie graveyard Dan 🥺
There is another Joseph Chamberlain at 16:27, across one and down one from the Joseph Chamberlain you found at 16:35.
I think that one is a charming little cemetery. Looks kinda goth a bit 👍
Really cool and interesting channel!!!
Another lovely walk. Nice autumn leaf crunching ASMR! Do think about carrying a wee alarm. Lots of dodgers out there.
Hello from Thailand, thank you very much for the presentation 🤗✌️👍🙏
I like the feel of this one and it looks lovely, rather gothic.
Dunno if it's a good idea or not but what about making it sound like you are live on youtube if you get people being sketchy? I doubt they want to be on a live feed doing whatever they are up to.
It does seem darker😮😮😮 be careful. Thanks for your videos and time.😊😊
I enoy your cemetery walks immensely.
That Cemetery gave me the chills it was so dark and dismal the graves were interesting though that character with the bike looked very dicey! Thank you 👏👏👏👏
He is a delivery driver he's delivering drugs lol 😆 🤣
I had a terrible fight in a local cemetery .A friend and I were visiting a grave and a bute smelled the weed and well he nearly lost big time - be safe .Sadly a knife, pepper spray can land you in trouble
Be safe!! love your videos!
Take care Dan.
Never do anything you shouldn't do in a cemetery they are called grave watchers they will attach themselves to you make your life miserable.
I find some parts of this cemetary very bleak. Is probably due to the many broken graves and the time of the year. Must be up to me😔 Martha
I don't think it's creepy or dark.. I think it's beautiful, but a shame that, as per usual humans have to ruin things.
My reminder is on! 👍😊
Think your experience reminds us there's more to fear from the living than the dead 😱
Be carefull with the living not the dead.
Stay safe Dan
If they kept the ivy cut, some of the damp rot would be stopped.
They had to dig a lot of graves up and put them all in a mass grave when they built the tram and railway lines into the jewellery quarter
I wonder if the different energies in cemeteries arise from the energy of the people buried in them, similar to how they would be when they were alive. This cemetery is dark and eerie, which I love. I never thought of a cemetery as being dangerous before, I don’t know why. But seems like they can be. Take care. There are plenty of witnesses here, though it would be better for you if you don’t need us. Stay safe.
Thanks Margo, could be energy of spirits or maybe it was the train line close by giving off some weird frequencies, as thats sometimes the case
Beautiful cemetery. Ours are all leafless right now.
The cementery laid them down because if they fall on you if you walk there you will be hurt or dead😅
Pretty sure that cemetery was just thoroughly vandalized. What a terrible shock that must have been for those who found the monuments of loved ones pushed over.
Oh snaappp Dan, please be careful!
At 9:40 a strange voice says : " let you guys look". 🤔
7:53 Merridale is in Wolverhampton. I am surprised that this lady got buried all the way in key hill cemetery in Birmingham
Why do people with hoodies and beanies hang around graveyards they look dodgy I’m sure there not there for the history stay safe Dan ❤️😊👍🏻
Look at minute 23:58. This bike rider was not a real man? A ghost or a spirit of dead man? How can he was come out from the tree? 😨👻🚲 can not believe..
Of course it was a real man, there are no such things as ghosts, and even if there were, how could he ride a bike? Ghosts are supposed to be able to walk through walls aren't they? his feet would pass through the pedals and his bum/body would pass straight through the saddle.

Blimey, thats a good shot. Thanks for the info
Fantastic ..👍

That is creepy buried with 50 other people
I enjoyed the video! ☺️
Thanks Paula x
SHAME, OBLITERATED WITH IVY. OH WELL! 5MINS WITH LOPPER.😢 ELECTRIC SAW.
Fascinating
How we respect the dead here in uk 😢
The entire cemetery seems pretty dodgy. Not well maintained.
Just a bit unloved.
It’s Joseph Chamberlain that is buried there
At least it is well kept
Some impressive graves, plus a little scary
Where is the person following?
Do not ever trust uber or deliveroo it's been proved most carry wepons
Have you u been to wrexham?
I have read that Birmingham in general is dangerous.
Not a very inviting grave yard , it’s it , if you will pardon the pun .
A couple of years ago, all the fabulous ironwork which replaced and copied from the originals that were removed. So those beautiful gates have all been replaced and the cemetery has really been tidied up. I remember when this was an overgrown gay cruising ground where people would just meet for sex, nobody ever went in there for anything other than that . And it was an extremely dangerous place. Assault were come in places as well as muggings. My grandparents And three of my aunts are buried in a grave near the main gate, the last being entered in 1988 .
Another good reason to always be armed with something
We're pretty defenceless in the UK, even pepper spray is classed as a firearm
Spray deodorant hurts if you should accidentally some how spray it in your face. Not a weapon you just want to smell nice.
I was at Heathrow Sunday
