Just keep cleaning your main filter. Pool robot is a good idea. Use some clarifier. Don’t dump your water.

You need to brush from shallow to deep end while running the filter. Then clean the filter and repeat another brushing.

Looks like you just need to run your pump. Clean the filter and then brush it the pool. Run pump on high. It will clear out.

That’s what I did and then cleaned the cartridge filters a couple of times

Two tab floaters is overkill. Your cya must be through the roof

Absolutely correct, one of them is empty and it’s just floating in there

I used too much phosphate remover. I ran the pump through a couple of cycles and cleaned the filters until the water cleared

you never posted the result. I don't know adding a chemical to pool water counts as DYI though :D That's just being a pool owner

Good point; I could have avoided this by paying for weekly pool service or paying attention. I didn't remember to record the results but it cleared up after 3 days

@@danygits thanks. Dealing with this for the first time. 8 don't see algae but something is using all my chlorine. Salt generator is running twice as hard this year

@@xMav44 same here due to extremely high temperatures. I have struggled with my water chemistry these past 3 weeks

@@xMav44 Check your Cyanuric Acid level 30-50 is ideal, also known as Conditioner or Stabilizer....CA bonds to chlorine and makes it last longer.
If it's low add CA in low doses and retest 4 or 5 days later.....CA levels too high it will bind up your Chlorine and render it useless.(only way to lower is a partial or full drain....do not add to much)
If you uses CA granules put it in an old sock tied off and put in skimmer basket......do not put granules in the skimmer basket as this dissolves very slowly and can get in your heater or your pumps impeller most are plastic now days.
