Hola Manu! And, Max....soooooo, this is not your most recent video, but this one caught my eye. Olivia and Lucas came by tonight before they went to a birthday party for Rick and Lina. Olivia shared your channel with me. The Bahamas have a big place in my heart. I took my sister to the Bahamas as a graduation gift...Nassau and a few other close-by places....but, our last year in New York, we won a time-share in a gorgeous house on Eleuthera. Olivia and Lucas, Lucas' Godfather and his husband were all there. soooo, watching this is nostalgic...for those memories, but also for how you are (or appear to me these days!) the spitting image of your mum! You may love, hate or be indifferent to that reference...but, it's what I see. Also, I have a love for sailing. One of my most favourite adventures was sailing from Antibes to St. Tropez...watchig the regattas and then sailing from St. Tropez to Menorca...encountering a Mistral with 7m waves and 70knot winds. Was a miracle we arrived. But, the thrill was there. I wish you the best and will certainly enjoy watching your travels. P.S. If you don't follow already, you should have a look at @sailingLaVagabonde ... they're pretty incredible with their adventures. xo
Hey! Oh how cool! We’re in Rock Sound, Eleuthera now. Absolutely love this part of the Bahamas. Mom sent me a picture of the Olivia, Lucas, and Lina. Chocked at how big they got! But I guess you have that same feeling with Paula and I. Haha! Everyone says I look just like mom, and I love that complement because she’s the best 🥰 I’m here doing this adventure thanks to her and how she raised me. Thanks for watching the video, hope to see you all soon 💗
Another great video, be on your own time line you will learn as time goes on keep it up! Have fun and some times stuff happens , in a year or so it will be just well that happened no worries got that fixed most sailor's stared the same way!! Nice fish yeah!
Good episode 👍love the reality and honesty in how it really is out there.Great plan to have someone along to teach you more about sailing and boat handling. Please keep them coming 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😍😍
I sailed thru the Bahamas years ago, and absolutely loved the many remote anchorages. Spanish Wells and Harbor Island bring back fond memories. I wish I would have stopped at Hogsty Reef as I passed within 6 nm. May see you guys in BVI, as our vessel is there! Luperon in DR was a great anchorage with friendly people.
Great video. you guys are killing it!! Always better to have an oversize hunk of iron, that mantas served you well, no safer place to be than on the hook during those violent storms.
Great seeing you guys living out your dreams. Very familiar with the northern Bahamas, but it sounds like you went south. Exumas are on my bucket list.
Unfortunately, the Bahamas aren’t in the Caribbean, they’re in the Atlantic 😀great job crossing and hang in there with the winds. We have an 85 pound Mantus and totally trust it! We’re currently in Staniel Cay riding out another storm, headed to Georgetown in a couple of days. Maybe we’ll run into you..
I think one of our friends, Chill Out, was in the same bay, one of the Canadians. A Hunter 34. Shout out to Jennifer and Derrick if you see them again!
You guys always Jamaica my day! 😂 Well done to you both. Great accomplishment. I am not sure how close to real time you are with your videos but there should be a few other UA-camrs there now. Spearit Animal, Adventure Crew's, and Lauren Landers. Would be great if you guys bump into them even off camera. They all love Mahi mahi if you're wanting to make new friends. Great video and lots of love ❤ PS: Max should go full Everlast circa late 90s with the beard😅 cheers
Do they have a recommended keel depth when going to Bahamas? I was looking at a boat with a 6ft but im thinking this might not be good for the Bahamas??
Hey! We’ve seen boats here with keels up to 7ft, but they say it’s not easy to access certain places. It can get pretty shallow in the Bahamas. You’ll have to pay attention to the tides a lot more with a 6ft keel. If you look at Navionics, you’ll see how shallow it can get. If you’re planning on only cruising the Bahamas, I’d think of looking at another boat with a draft that will allow you to cruise in these waters. We have a 4.5ft draft and we’re able to go about anywhere here.
Love you guys. I love watching your journey. Happy you guys made it.
That’s so kind of you to say!! Thank you ❤️
Just letting you know my family loves your channel. You guys are hilarious. Thanks for making the videos. I’m so glad you show the rough parts.
Manu ! This is awesome... You two are wonderful... Enjoy the adventure. Love, Nat
Your postings make me feel like I'm kicked back in my recliner watching with you as everything unfolds! Keep sharing!
Love that!

The gal, Manu? What a hoot.
I’ve just stumbled across your video’s, and you two are bloody “awesome “. You have a new Aussie subscriber.
Welcome aboard!
Glad you made it to the Bahamas! Trip of a lifetime!
Definitely!! Still can’t believe we’re here!
After a blow like that 30 knots will seem normal, y'all are getting stronger and more confident as you progress through this adventure 👍🇺🇸❤️
Thanks!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Love the videos, you guys are great. May I ask what internet provider you are using?
Starlink!

Their is an app for monitoring your anchor has an alarm if you move to far.
We have a few of those set every night
Jibadaja! 😂
