I liked Dreamsnake but didn't think it was anything special. But ever since i read it, for years now, I've been thinking of it. I got rid of my copy immediately after reading it and have been on the lookout for probably three years now for another copy. Eventually I plan to read it again and try to figure out why its stuck with me so much despite not loving it at the time. Looking forward to doing reviews with you and Richard again! Would also love to see you end up on Shawn's channel talking about Simak!
Dreamsnake! Years since I have seen that one I remember it being weird/good in the same way Tanith Lee often is. Odd John.... I feel like that is referenced in Sunburst by Phyllis Gotlieb a few times so I look forward to seeing what you think of it.
Been meaning to ask: Is the list of SF masterpieces that you're working your way through available? Is it from Easton press? Just curious because you hold up some things that I've never heard mentioned by anyone, too many for them all to be lost masterpieces. . . Which seems to be borne out by your reviews, so I would love to look at the list. 😅😄
@@sfwordsofwonder Thank you! That's just what I was looking for and didn't find. I figured you would have linked to the list somewhere, but I didn't find it.
_Dreamsnake, Odd John, The Alteration:_ those are all three great picks for upcoming reads Ira! 👍😁
Looking forward to them, thanks.
Awesome month! I'm just finishing up Lord of Light and I look forward to chatting with you!
Yeah, a lot to talk about with that one. Should be fun Chris.

I've had the same experience with thinking I didn't like a book but I keep thinking about it. Excited to talk to you guys.
Thanks for having me on the channel!
You had a good month!
Anytime Joseph, just let me know if you'd like to do another video together, your channel or mine.

I've heard many good things about Dreamsnake, I like weird/good 😊
@@sfwordsofwonder Can't wait to hear what you say about it. Been so long since I read it I barely remember.
Sounds like some varied reading! Good stuff
Yeah, I'm reading Terminal Experiment right now from Sawyer, it is a very easy read compared to Lord of Light, that one almost melted my brain.
Sounds like a great reading month! Cheers, man 🤘
It was, and a lot of fun hanging out with you guys.
These videos are great but unfortunately they keep adding stuff to my own tbr list. Hope September is as enjoyable for you!
You must read the rest of the Hee-Chee...
I'm sure I will. Have you read The Boy Who Would Live Forever? If so is it worth it?
@@sfwordsofwonder To be honest I've only read 1,2 and 3, but I'll read the rest one day.
