Be careful in choosing lessons that are not for your level. I was taking B2.3 lessons in French and in some classes, there were 1 or 2 people that weren't ready for that level (being in a B1.3, for instance). The teacher always would have to go back to explain something that was really well approached in a level before (B2.2) and we would lose sometimes 20 minutes of the class because of that. We ended up rushing the end of the class with some really complex subjects on one of those days as well. It's not a good thing for this student (that usually is struggling during the whole class), for the teacher (that can receive a bad review because of time management as well from other students), and for the others (that are reviewing something they just saw and not seeing something they chose to). If you are going to challenge yourself like that, please do like she said in the video and study the class in advance really well, take a look at the presentation of related previous classes and bear in mind that students that are in that level are there to learn as well.
thank you for these really constructive thoughts and great examples! completely agree that if you are going to choose lessons a level upper, be sure that you can manage it
Thanks a lot for sharing your experience! It's hard to tell by their website what the lessons include, how they are structured. whether you can choose the topics and the teachers or not, so this video was really helpful!
I agree with all these statements. Do not forget to cancel the auto subscription. Read the material before class. If There are too many words that you don't know, review them or choose an easier class. You can actually see the slides before you even book. I had a really bad class today because I randomly chose a class 30 minutes before and was crushed during the class. Lesson learnt the hard way!
Really appreciated your video! I am gonna be starting my first lesson in an hour for german! I do not know any german. Wish me luck, tell me more tips!Loved your video! :)
I wonder can I cancel the subscription as soon as I finished the super sprint? I heard that someone have to subscribe more two months to get cashback. Because have to keep subscription until you get the challenge successful identification results after 45 work days. Is it true or not?
Now there is only 50% refund(which is fine) . There is a flex optio and sprint option wonder that the difference is. Apparently sprint also allows you to fix a class any time(flexible).
I would like to understand how one progresses through the different levels (A1,A2,B1 etc.) It sounds like you just pick a class/time/teacher in your level and go... Are there a set number of clases in each level and when you complete them all you automatically move to the next level? Maybe topic for another video? 🤔
Dear, please tell me what does it mean to" turn of "the subscription in order for the 170 Euro no to be automatically withdrawn from bank account. I want to start a sprint with 15 lessons per week. Thank you in advance to you or to whoever will choose to answer me 😊
Thanks alot for such a wonderful explanation ma'am Must recommend video to everyone who are willing to participate in super spring challenge During the challenge can we specifically take class which focuses on Listening or speaking or reading or writing skill rather than the normal grammar or topic wise class? Or in topic class only they will focus to work on LSRW Skills?
great video! regarding the sprint i still dont understand how the language level works? meaning, my goal is to learn full B1 course and I am not sure how many hours are required to finish the full course. This is why I wasn't sure if I should register for the half/full sprint because I am not sure if at the end of the sprint I would be able to finish the full course level. what was your experience? thanks!
Hi thanks for your info. … could you please tell me whether can I open the presentation even before the sprint duration starts without losing cashback option , today s 6 th december my sprint starts on 27 th December!! Thanks in advance
woooow! good luck with your sprint 😍 when I'm afraid of what people will think of me or my faults, I remember that each of us cares most about how he/she looks himself/herself and don’t really care about mistakes of other. thus everyone in the class is afraid to make a mistake, and if you are wrong, no one will condemn you, but rather support you 🫶🏻✨ which language did you choose for sprint?
@@lisabeth_ haha I meant a mistake in the sense that I won't receive my refund! I'm doing a regular sprint for French. Oh and I already didn't make the sprint/refund because I didn't pay careful attention and accidentally took 16 (instead of 15) classes in the first month :') but still completely worth it!
hi, lisa😊 i enjoy listening to your English very much. Though i can tell immediately you're not a native English speaker, your utterances are clear and sweet. I do have a question, is this refund thingy applicable to endless times of courses? Say, if I've got my refund in the English lesson, am i still entitled to another refund if i attend a different language course and with 100% attendance as well?
in brief: In this video, the speaker shares their experience with Lingoda's Sprint, an online language school where students can learn English, French, German, and Spanish. The speaker took up the Super Sprint to improve their English before immigrating to Canada. Key points: 1-Lingoda offers two options: Sprint (15 lessons per month with a 50% refund if completed) and Super Sprint (30 lessons per month with a 100% refund if completed). 2-The speaker successfully completed the Super Sprint and received their money back. 3-Time management and flexibility are important for completing the Sprint. 4-Students take a language knowledge test to determine their starting level. 5-Lessons are conducted on Zoom with a group of 5 people and a native speaker teacher. 6-The speaker shared five tips for success: a. Choose lessons slightly more advanced than your level. b. Check the presentation in advance to prepare for the lesson. c. Use vocabulary from previous lessons in your speech. d. If you choose the last lesson in a topic, review the previous ones. e. Set an alarm if you plan to nap before class. The speaker encourages viewers to leave questions in the comments and plans to discuss their English and French learning methods in a future video.

yes, you can use zoom app (I did the same thing). How does the rollover (after sprint) works? Is it mandatory to do it?
Sorry, what do you mean by rollover?
How many times per year do they have super sprint?
It looks like you can start every 2weeks or something like that
