Really underestimated the ups and downs on this walk. At times it was constant, especially the second half of day 2.

Hi Steve, enjoyed watching your two part on the Cleveland way, what happened to the rest of the walk?. Im planning on doing the walk this year, September all going well.
I last did the walk as a 12/13 year old kid 40 years ago next month, i know this as i turned 13 while on the walk with my dad. on my first day i want to do from Helmsley to kildale barn, then have a half nights sleep then off to staithes, but i dont think there is a camp site there any longer, used to be one in the valley.
Any way you have a new subscriber. hope that you did film the other days of the walk and you will be posting them soon. all the best mate

Yeah, the rest is coming soon. I’ll not spoil the ending for you, but it was hard.
I done Kildale to hinderwell (Serenity Campsite about a mile away from staithes).
Thinking back I really should have got a place in Saltburn. It was a long hard day.
      Thanks for subscribing mate. 👍🏻

Nice film, I can see you’ve put a lot of time and effort into filming this - well done.
What time of year did you do it? It’s my favourite of all the national trails and I do it every year since I retired 8 years ago. I love it and I’ve Subscribed.

      Cheers mate. 👍🏻
I done it in May last year. It’s a stunning part of the world.
