@@fordhouse8b Sadly, she became overwhelmed by the business. She did resurface to guest on the Dream Syndicate comeback album a few years back (sang and co-wrote one track), but didn't rejoin the band. She did write a song for a soundtrack the next year, so there's hope.

Her artistic legacy is impeccable and she had enough integrity and smarts to stay away from all the bullshit and hideous people who too often populate the music business. She chose wisely.
@dumpsterzero I wore mine out too - then spent big money on an ultra-rare copy of "Early Recordings" I tracked down on eBay. It was worth it, though. Superb album, and superb song.
