To me it seems like the gearbox has a failure, because the car accelerates not really fast, but the RPM climbs higher and higher. Maybe some adjustments in the mechanics would fix that RPM problem 🤷♂️
Well, let me share with you a little "secret" that most dont know about old mercs. As you see, you have the 2 lines for KMh/MPh yellow/white, as you pause the vid where you can see clearly the speedometer, you can notice dots between those 2 lines. hint : 1st dot almost at 25mph, that means, thats the max speed of 1st gear, there are shown 3 of those, so the car has 4 gears. As the last gear is not shown because max speed may wary with time and conditions. Besides, all the SD models had 4spd autos. Only some SE models had the 3 speed one
