It's not as exciting as it sounds! Trying to read through prototype materials and messaging him to find out what I'm playing wrong is more stressful than awesome :)
Mike saying a solo automa is a lot means something haha! Thanks for demonstrating this - definitely like the unique look of each faction AI but agree that's complex.
I found out later I was playing some of the most complex faction automas and one of the toughest side missions (the plague one), so it won't ALWAYS be this rough!
Thanks for the video as it really reinforces my feelings of hard pass. I love the classic look and if I played competiive games enough it might be okay, but I really HATE automa players added to competitive games, especially when this complex. Saves me a lot of money as Bloodstones seems really expensive for what you get.
Well to be clear, the expansion that I am showing here adds the more complicated automa players. If you play the solo scenarios in the original game, they have very basic factions that don't tend to do anything, or have very simple resolution systems. So you might actually like that better. You can watch my previous video on the game to see what I mean.
@@OneStopCoopShop Yeah, I've watched it. Those scenarios were too simple. It's ok, I never like automa solo/co-op modes and almost exclusively play games built for solo/co-op from the beginning of the design process. I don't like any of the Turczi style solo modes.

"I talked to David Turczi"... yeah, yeah, just showing off.

@@OneStopCoopShop Good to know! Like so many games, they need to put complexity and difficulty scores on there!
@capnbob0618 I talked to David Turczi and he said they will do exactly that for the final version ❤️
Uh, nice. Waited for that one, thank you!
About how big is the map/board? I was eyeballing this, but seems like it has a pretty big table footprint.
Pretty big... 2.5x2.5 feet if I had to hazard a guess without actually pulling it out

@@PickleTheHutt oh then yeah, avoid this for sure!
Game seems interesting buy way to expansive for just tiles
I'm guessing "just tiles" means you prefer miniatures? Whereas for me I like these a lot more than minis :)
@@OneStopCoopShop no, I mean that the game cost to much for what you get
@mithrandir510 oh sure, I won’t argue with that. It’s definitely overproduced for better or worse
