Jill is the embodiment of "salt of the earth". Raw, unfiltered and unapologetic. Her work is amazing and inspiring and what a journey through life she had. This was put together so beautifully and really brought us into the room with her. Incredible work.

I've watched a lot of videos in which photographers say the same thing : shoot what you want, how you want, be in the moment etc. It never hit home for me. But this, this is pure gold for me. So many lessons to be learned in how to see the act of photography but most importantly, how to live. A true devil may care attitude that is so rare these days! Miss Freedman, chapeau!

I have to appreciate her uncomplicated presentation as an artist in love with her art. I am sure her psychoanalyst could have coaxed out of her an endless self-absorption with the question of why she did what she did, but I am glad she spares us all that drivel and just shows us the love - directly. Simply.

All of this episodes content is absolutly golden documents, and it is an example of how the Internet has democratized such important parts of culture, exemplifying in this case how UA-cam can be a "free" university or a dumping ground for garbage and absurdity... it all depends on the value and will that people want to contribute.
In this case the contribution is clearly passionate, very professional, full of dignity and respect for the medium, and full of surprise at the ease of recording and storing something so powerful, that in other times (as in the case of the protagonist of this episode) would have been impossible.
    Thank you wholeheartedly.
This is meaningful, nourishing, and important work. And that is exactly the revolutionary way one should get up in the morning and work, contributing something intelligent and elevated in this fvcking world full of dissociation and lacking interest in almost everything.
Jill is clearly a very harsh example of all this hahaha with such a lucid character, so sharp, direct and in your face!
Much respect to the OG MAMA JILL keeping it real, raw and without concessions to anything or anyone
