- Two McCourys down. One to go. Rob, you're next!
Here, Ronnie talks about joining his dad's band, the influence of David Grisman, and his meetings with Jerry Garcia.
* Apparently This Matters is an interview series by Jarrett Bellini. The concept it simple: I have a case filled with postcards. On the back of each postcard, I write different topics. We pick these cards at random. And then we talk.

Just saw Del in NJ on Saturday night in Newton, NJ. Absolutely mindblowing show! Del McCoury, The Dead, Dawg, Old and In The Way, Rush...love them all! Ronnie is an awesome cat.
Good story teller like his dad. You can tell he would do anything not to hurt his mom and dad. Just love it.
Everyone who loves music respects RUSH !!! Great interview, what a gentleman...
Ronnie McCoury blew my mind at mountain winery this past weekend. God bless the McCourys
So cool to get some stories from Ronnie.. awesome!! Thank you 🎵🎵✌️
Great interview. Ronnie seems like a great guy (and David Grisman too).
This is such a lovely interview, thank you.. Ronnie is my musical hero, but also a real gentleman. These anecdotes put such a smile on m face.
Played an opener once for Del and spent the day with them. Can confirm Ronnie is one of the nicest musicians I ever met. Learned everybody’s names immediately, genuinely interested in everybody’s music and invited me to breakfast next day. Super nice guy
Grate interview!!!
Rush! Yes!

Ronnie sounds so much like his daddy.A little deeper. Tell he loves his daddy.
