Thanks so much for posting this, girl! Very informative. I'm actually getting surgery soon, too. I am wondering if you could explain more about what it was like to get put to sleep? This is the part that freaks me out!! Like, what does it feel like? How do they do it? What does it feel like when they put the stuff in, like do you get sleepy or is more like wide awake to instantly out? Could you have stayed awake if you would have tried or is it impossible? Haha. Basically whatever you remember about that part would be helpful. Thanks so much!

Yeah! So I've been put to sleep 5 times now I think and I remember my first time I was so scared and nervous. In my case they give me a relaxing medicine to start off with while in pre-op but it might be different with you I'm not sure. But definitely have them give that to you if they offer! It eases a lot of anxiety especially when it's your first time. With that med I kind of start feeling a little loopy haha. And it is so funny because sometimes I remember being wheeled into the OR and remember what it looked like and other times I have no memory of it lol. But they wheel you in to the OR and transfer you to the surgical table and they may strap your arms or wrap blankets around them. And then they usually put on a oxygen mask and tell you to breathe while they push the anesthesia through an IV and honestly for me it was like I remembered them starting to push it and then I woke up very groggy and out of it and with blurry vision. But over like 20-30 minutes my vision cleared and I wasn't as groggy. That's my experience and sorry this is so long! Oh also no you can't fight it haha and stay awake. And after surgery if you feel like you want to sleep embrace that it makes it so much easier to sleep it all off. Let me know if you have any other questions!

@@TheMitoWarrior sweety I hope you are all well now. I have a question too. Is it possible the for example my husbad can stay with me before I go to sleep and after when I go to recovery room..because I am so afraid and I feel much better if he stays with me before and after .

@@capcanlimekan1218 for me my dad was able to do that. And I know typically hospitals allow that. Except now for covid, most hospitals don't allow anyone to stay with you for any reason. It's something you would have to speak with the hospital about unfortunately.

Hey there ! I just stumbled upon your video and it seems like you are going through so much :(. I just wanted to say , idk why they tell you your ulcers are at serious enough to be UC or Crohn’s because that’s exactly how they both start! I have Crohn’s disease and I’m pretty sure I was told something like that my first colonoscopy. I’m going to keep watching I hope you found answers !

I know you have had a lot of test, I have had similar test and I have IBS and it sounds like what have everyday, I was diagnosed when I was in my early twenties, but had had problems since I was young.

Yeah I was diagnosed fairly young with IBS and at one point we thought all of this was just a manifestation of it, but in the next video that is coming out tomorrow that theory was proved wrong for me and I got a diagnosis separate from IBS. Thank you so much for sharing!❤️
