- This is what I learned from 3112 LMS wins. I started doing LMS and PVP during the start of the pandemic so getting this many wins has taken me around 3 years. This is my first video I've ever made so please comment your feedback and like and subscribe if you learned anything! I hope you enjoy!

If I were to add a tip, for newer pkers, I would have to say that always switching back into the gear you just switched from before switching to the third style will stop your gear from getting all jumbled up and keep you more organized. I've found this works in high level pvm as well.
As for the video! Very informative!
If I could suggest, for future reference, adding a title screen to sectionalize individual tips.
A long with a little more yellowy fonty text, to help highlight the pointers being given, and it would be top! Imo anyway. Audio is pretty on point as well 👍 subbed

Is trade with the same pathing as use item? I do trade with which is better than follow and probably easier than using an item on them
Well shit, if it is, then I'll have to put an edit in LOL! I actually don't know if pathing will start in LMS. And I don't know if it acts the same as trade where you can get caught behind an object or not. This is something I'll have to test.
So I tested it out and trade has the same pathing as use item on a player. Thanks for bringing this to my attention!

This is super insightful! Using an item on someone who is running - smart! I’m gunna try that one out. You articulated a lot of nifty nuances, like using the barrage animation to your advantage to sneak a spec in. I’ve won a lot of lms games and I still learned a lot from this video. I realized I haven’t been using my mage gear for mage defense fully optimally. Would love to see a more in depth guide! Subbed.

I just started getting into LMS now that the Aussie 390 world actually has players again, this is awesome info. I’ve got 1 tick switches down but I have a habit of getting caught panicking and trying to react too much, instead of being on the offence!
My guess is you're unsure about what a player is going to do. 2 things I recommend you do is play calming music in the heat of battle, like classical or something, and focus on identifying your opponents patterns. And this goes without saying ALWAYS be in your tank. I'm glad you're getting back into LMS! Hope to catch a game with you!

@@taz_trader it's from lunar spellbook, in main game you'd need to unlock it, but in lms you can just choose it from the settings at the chest I think

Is there a reason for not useing the fixed client or is it just personal preference.
Just personal preference. There are advantages and disadvantages to both, but fixed is probably better for most players.

mage gear got updated and would do any changes to the gear recommendation? mage book went from 0% to 2% magic damage, ancestral hat 2>3% and well occult from 10 to 5% lol
Mage book was worth taking before the buff if you can manage a 4-way switch. I wouldn't recommend taking the ancestral hat or the occult still. In short, nothing in my recommendations has changed. 😁

Great video. One thing I was not sure about. Would you take javelins over acb/zcb with opal bolts every time or only in certain modes?
Morrigan's javelins are more accurate and have a higher max hit than zcb/acb w/ opal bolts. So, javelins are better every time. If you happen to get javiles, you should always keep your crossbow on you because the javiles have horrible distance. When people farcast, you just switch to your c bow until you can close the distance.

I should have mentioned it in what I learned from 3k+ LMS wins, but I forgot to cover it. In my next video, I'll include it. It's actually easy. It just takes time to get in the habit of doing. Basically, what you do is if you switch into melee from mage, then you have to switch it in reverse in order to keep everything where it's supposed to be. It's actually a great tip, but because I do it unconsciously every time I forgot to cover it 😄

My wrist hurts when i try to pk. Too much gear switching, prayer swapping, 1 tick clicking, etc. 1000 wins is impossible for me
You can definitely get 1000 wins if you play at night when 87% of the lobby is bots! You also might just need to get your wrist used to those moments. Take it slow!
Wish there was a mode where it’s venge only. I don’t mind hybrid pking but tribrid is too much for me

@nowlan2 Using F keys will greatly improve your performance. You can practice F keys while pvming before you introduce it into pking. Once you get your f keys down, you'll improve a lot more. Glad to hear you're improving! Good luck!

Heyo, great video - even I learnt some things, and I have 730 wins! I would like to suggest some potential changes to your gear reccomendations. I think there's a few items you have highlighted in red, that I think are some good items to pick up, and I'll do my best to explain them. It might take a few comments under this comment, because of how youtube mobile works.
I should note that I feel your chart is more directed towards people learning, rather than people experienced and would figure this stuff out themselves.
- occult necklace: this being 10% magic damage, but only +2 magic accuracy, I can see why it's not included but I would definitely include it. Whilst dropping something like a tome of fire does reduce your magic accuracy, this 10% makes your blood barrages giga, and scales even further when you pick up the next item
- ancestral hat. Often times, I feel people use this item wrong. They camp it, instead of helmet switching. Replacing tome of fire with ancestral hat, and switching to a barrows helmet for tank, ends out being better magic accuracy and also higher magic damage. I like this item for that.
- dharoks legs are a pick up, the rest is questionable but can be very strong if used well.
- infernal cape. This one can be tricky because in the late game you might get so many switches that make it a tough choice, but in the early game you always have 1 free inventory space, so adding this to your arsenal can make your specs even deadlier. In addition, it helps regain the strength bonus lost when you find a seers ring. Don't camp this cape, but it's still pretty good as it's a straight up buff to your specs.
Mages book: since you should start with a tome of fire anyway, replacing this with a mages book is a no brainer. It's hands down the best magic accuracy upgrade in the entire minigame, and for that I think it's worth it. However, there are times that I would prefer not to use it. These times are when I find an ancestral hat switch, and also have a barrows/inquisitor helmet, since the hat is slightly better. If you can though, bring both.
The ballista is one that I'm on the fence about. On the one hand, it's a slower weapon and for that I can definitely see why it's not used, and I personally don't like using it my self for that reason, however, whenever I fight someone who does use one it hits really hard and especially if I don't get a prayer right.
Elder maul, similar to the ballista. I actually would reccomend not picking this one up though, because it seems to have awful accuracy and the slow tick speed can make a failed maul hit a real problem. It's a bit of a gamble, when it hits it can hit big, but because it's a gamble I just don't bother.
For 1 defence pure, and pure only, I would highly recommend picking ul the granite maul. This weapon can delete opponents in under 10 seconds from start to finish. Of course, if it noodles you lose a lot of potential dps, but I've had more good results than bad.
Great guide. So the thing i struggle with the most is eating. I dont understand brews at all. It looks like all the best lms players say sip a brew while fighting because it doesnt cost a game tick, but the brew lowers your stats so why would you want to attack when your stats are lowered? i always end up sipping a brew (costing an offensive turn) then having to restore (costing an offensive turn) and by the time i do that theyve already did enough damage for it to not even matter. Ive only been learning this new style of pking for about a month. I have about 200 lms games under my belt and only about 50 kills, 0 wins. I understand the mechanics of the fight for the most part and I have my switches down pretty nicely. My issue really is that they outlast me everytime. Can you elaborate to me on the brew thing? Does it not really matter if your stats are brewed down when you attack?
So, as I've said in the video already you can use them as combo food or heal while still attacking. I like to use brews at the beginning of the fight and mostly offensively without losing any game ticks. People say to use them while fighting because there are times when you might not want to stop attacking because you have momentum, but your hp is getting in KO range. To prevent yourself from having to potentially give up the momentum to eat you can sip a brew and still do damage. The trade off to keep attacking without losing any game ticks is lowered offensive stats. Keep in mind that your defense level in LMS ALWAYS stays at 75 so if you're potted to 112 range or even unpotted and you brew down your range level is still higher than your opponents defense level so you're still likey to deal damage. That's why they're so much better used offensively in LMS in particular.
You should be able to crop the clip to the size of the client if you record in full screen and depending on what you edit with you should be able to copy that effect to the rest of what you have. It's just hard to see from mobile

Nobody really AHK's as far as I can tell. It's usually bots that are completely automated. Often enough, people accused others of AHK because they can 1 tick a 3 or 4 way and get most of their prayers right. But lots of the better pkers can do that no problem. I myself get accused of using scripts all the time, but as you can see I don't use them. That's not to say that I haven't encountered them before in LMS. All of the AHKers I've fought usually die because they don't know how to PvP. Thus, I didn't feel like it was worth mentioning since they're not too common and are shit to begin with.

Sure. If you need to eat but don't want to stop attacking your opponent, you can brew then blitz or brew and then bolt. Drinking a brew lowers your offensive stats and heals you. Normally, it raises your defense level, too, but not in LMS. Now, if you drink a brew, your offensive stats get lowered, including your magic level. But you're still able to use blitz. And since a brew is a potion, you don't lose any ticks while drinking it, which means you can drink a brew and still attack your opponent immediately after.

RNG means random number generator. It refers to the chances of something happening. For example, if you're trying to get an item with 1/1k drop rate and you get it in your first 100 kills, you would say that your RNG is good.

Personally I take mages book but in a video that's explaining fakeys and dding to people I'd figure I'd start them off slow and keep it simple with a 3 way which can be a lot to some. Perhaps I should have said, "You can take these items when you become more comfortable with gear switching". Anyways thanks for the comment and watching my video!

Things will always change, and metas will be redefined. That's the nature of evolution. Dding is an important part of bridding and has been for a while now. I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Do your best to keep them frozen and hit them off prayer. If your ping is bad, then that's just means you're held to higher standard. You'll have to learn the bots mechanics. It's really like fighting a boss. Once you know their capabilities, you can counter them. Good luck

@H2Raby Many of the same fundamentals apply to all styles of bridding. With main, the most important thing I'd say is try to stay in your tank as much as possible and use some of your specs early. Good luck!
