Your question on decal about 12.40 in, that represents 366th Operations Group, top of rudder decal is 12th Air Force, lower nose decal 389th Fighter Squadron . " We'll Take It From Here", perfect. You are right, fuselage on this one is awesome, overall paint scheme excellent, but engine awesome, its tough to get that metal heat finish. The lettering on wing tip is probably for type of wing munitions. White wheel wells are difficult at best to detail, so don't be concerned there. I have a theory on munitions detailing for you, as a multi - national aircraft, munitions will varying so they generalize representing them.( it'd cost a lot to truly detail them). Plus the aircraft itself had some where near 4 variants, I believe this one is the C model, so that is where they concentrate their detail. I wouldn't kick it out of any hanger :-) ... Seeing both models at the end was incredible almost like they were going to take off. You're definitely the luckiest model collector in the world :-) Standing by for the next one.

Not AIM-120s, not AIM-7s but AGM-88 HARM for wild weasel mission. Never loaded on Station 2 or 8, always station 3 & 7. Someone else mention antennae on trailing edge of wings are static dischargers. Always nice to bump your head on. Still a great set up, and great review!
Bit of a random yet interesting tidbit: C model F-16s in US service never used AIM-7 Sparrows. While the radar for the C models had the required Continuous Wave illuminators required to guide Sparrows, they weren't cleared for BVR weapons until 1991-1992. By that point, the AMRAAM had already entered service. Before they were cleared for Sparrows in '91/'92, F-16Cs just used Sidewinders (namely AIM-9L/Ms, sometimes AIM-9J/N/P. Funnily enough, the first F-16 variant cleared for use with BVR missiles were F-16A Block 15 Air Defense Fighter (ADF) Fighting Falcons. F-16A-15 ADFs were modified Block 15 aircraft with added CW (Continuous Wave) Illuminators, so they could guide Sparrows (and AMRAAMs). They were used exclusively by the US Air National Guard, and were not capable of carrying guided air-to-surface ordnance, since they were used exclusively in the Air Defense role. The ANG was evaluating the Northrop F-20A Tigershark for a short time in the mid-80s, and was briefly considered for the role. However, the ANG decided to go with modified F-16As, since it would be cheaper than sn entirely new aircraft (which likely would've had a very limited production run anyway). The US Navy and Marines were also looking at the Tigershark for use as an adversary/aggressor aircraft, though they would ultimately choose the F-16 for the same reason as the Air National Guard. Unlike the ANG's modified F-16As, the Navy/Marines chose stripped down F-16C Block 30 aircraft for the role of aggressor, ultimately being re-designated as F-16N.
I know this an old video at this point but you did ask for people to point out errors and I haven't seen anyone mention this yet. The biggest flaw I seeis it looks like it's painted in 3 colors which would be accurate for an older f-16 from the 80's. However it really should just be two colors, gunship grey and medium grey. Also looks like they painted the air intake black, (probably to hide that it's not full length and lacks detail) when it should be white. Still it's an impressive piece for something massed produced like that

MO AF91 401 tail number means It is a Air Force aircraft, ordered in 1991, 401 is the last three digits of the serial number an MO is where is was based, Mountain Home AFB, Idaho.
Another cracking video and I would love to get my hands on some of the models you review but struggling to find any here in the UK and when I do find them there soooooo expensive the antennas on the trailing edge of the wings are static electricity discharges if you look on the airbus A319 or A320 you will see them on the winglets but stunning model all the same can't wait for the next video stay safe out there from joff in the UK

@@jose_abrego9564These 1/18 scale jets are released and usually sell out quickly, and I’ve never heard of them being reissued. There were supposed to be an F-4 and a MiG-21 and I saw pics of prototypes, but they were never actually issued as far as I know. The F-14 had what was supposed to be touch up paint like the real ones at sea, but they just sprayed random spots all over them. Looked ridiculous, but a decal company did 1/18 decals, and I’d have redone the paint and used them if I’d gotten one. 1/32 will have to do for me. Wish they’d do the F-15C, F-4E, Su-25 & 27, MiG-23, 25 and 29, and Mi-24, but I doubt we’ll ever see those.
I've got the BBI F-16 and F/A-18 years ago when they were less costly. Found some pictures from these 2 birds together and searched for technical datas. Both side by side, it seamed to me that the F-16 model was too big or the F/A-18 too small. And, disappointing, it appeared that the F16 was actually too big, with a real scale closer to 1:17 or even a bit less. Has it been made like this to make the (accurate 1:18th) pilot's sitting in the cockpit possible? Well, a very nice model, though, but I would have loved both airplanes having mobile flight control surfaces like partially with Merit's A/V-8B (that has serious mistakes with the cockpit and front landing gear). Ok, I'm a chronic unsatisfied guy.

No unfortunately I didn't get the model yet it's because their sold out on the flying mule website so that's why I can't get it I'm going to wait a few more days because it's nearly Christmas so they should put it back in stock😊

I'm a huge F-16 fan I like F-16s very much. The F-16 is not only american but other nationalities as well other air forces as well. The royal Danish air force Denmark, Norwegian air force Norway. Besides the Ukrainian air force and Polish air force, Belgian air force, UAE air force, Pakistani air force. I love the Israeli air force and Danish air force and Norwegian air force. I wish Canada had F-16s rather than the Americans. The Americans were very rude arrogant.

I have the fx, 16 falcon tour, which was made in collaboration with Mitsubishi ,,. it has the same body, but the wings are longer and wider

I dont like the Missles. The Aim-9 Sidwider dont look accurate and the AIM-120 looks more like a AIM-7 Sparrow. But great video from you!

I live the F-16 too. Something about it. I got it on ebay. The manufacturer went out of business so they are really expensive now.
