Thank God my parents insisted I go to masjid even in the middle of the war in Bosnia. Thank God for my parents and preserving their life and health as many children from Bosnia lost one or both parents. Now they are excellent grandparents and roll models to my toddler, as well.

This topic is a pressing need of our Ummah. As a muslim parent, i totally understand it will be the worst nightmare for any parent to see their child as anything except a Muslim. May Allah protect us all and our children and our descendants. For this to materialize, we parents need to understand our Deen better and our Piety should reflect not just in our Salah, Zakah and Siyam but at every breath of our life. I am a revert, Alhamdulillah Islam is the best gift parents can give to their children.
"Do not pass down creed and culture as one package"... Very valuable lesson I got from here.

Alhamdulillah for my forefathers that were brought to the West Indies from India by the British in the 1800's to work on sugar plantations did not change their Islamic faith despite intense pressure. Many of them were forced to accept Christianity to attain higher positions and land titles back in those days. Alhamdulillah the true believers stuck to their deen despite those pressures and as such their progeny remained Muslims. May Allah elevate their ranks and bless them with Jannatul Firdous, aameen. They are our heroes.

Subhan Allah wa bihamdihi , Subhan Allah Al 'Adim
Here are some things to higher your reward on judgement day!
1. Subhan Allahi wa bi Hamdi, SubhanAllahi'l Adheem"
"Glory be to Allah and Praise be to Him, the Greatest, is free from imperfection"
"The Prophet (sallā Allāhu 'alayhi wa-ala ālihi wa-sallam) said, there are two phrases, which are beloved of the Most Merciful Allah, light on the tongue, yet heavy on the scale of reward
(Hadith Al Bukhari)
2. Seeking forgiveness by saying
"Astaghfirullah"
We are all in constant need of Allah’s Subhanu Wa Ta'ala forgiveness!
"The Prophet (şallā Allāhu 'alayhi wa- ala ālihi wa-sallam) used to seek forgiveness 70 times a day, and he was a sinless person."
(Hadith Bukhari)
Imagine if we used every spare minute we have in one day to say(Astaghfirullah)
3. "La Hawla wa La Quwatta illah billah"
There is no power and strength except with Allah The Prophet (sallā Allāhu 'alayhi wa- ala ālihi wa-sallam) said that this is one of the treasures of Paradise.
4. "Surah Fatiha" can be recited in a minute The Prophet (şallā Allāhu 'alayhi wa-ala ālihi wa-sallam) said that "Al Fatiha" is a cure for every poison-
(Hadith Al Bukhari)
5. "The Salawat/Darood Ibrahim. Allahuma Salli ala Nabiyina" "Muhammadin-" O Allah send peace and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad (sallā Allāhu 'alayhi wa-ala alihi wa-sallam)
The Prophet (şallā Allāhu 'alayhi wa- ala ālihi wa-sallam) said:
He who reads a single Salawaat/darood upon me, Almighty Allah blessed him ten times, he is increased ten times in the stages of Jannah and ten of his sins are forgiven-
(Hadith Nisa'i)
6. Alhamdulilah (Praise be to Allah)
Gratitude is an important virtue!
7. "SubhanAllahi wa bi hamdihi adada khalqihi wa ridaa' nafsihi wa zeenata arshihi wa midaada kalimatihi "-
"Allah is free from imperfection and I begin with His praise, as many times as the number of His creatures in accordance with His Good. Reciting this praise 3 times in the morning will weigh heavier on the scale than doing dhikr from the dawn prayer to forenoon-
(Hadith Sahih Muslim)
8. "Subhan Allahi wa bihamdihi"
"Allah is free from imperfection and His is the Praise.”
The Prophet (şallā Allāhu 'alayhi wa- ala älihi wa-sallam) said: if these words are recited 100 times a day, one's sins will be forgiven even if they were equal to the extent of the foam of the ocean-
(Hadith Bukhari and Muslim)
9. "Surah Ikhlas" can be recited in a minute,
(Surah 112)
It is known to have the merit and reward of
reciting 1/3 of the Quran-
(Hadith Al Bukhari)
Note: this does not serve the purpose of
reciting the entire Qur'an rather it is 1/3 in reward.
10. La illaha illAllah
There is no God but Allah"
"If everything in the Seven heavens, besides Allah were placed on a scale and the statement "La illaha illAllah" was placed on the other side of it, the statement would weigh more -
(Hadith Ibn Hibban and Hakim)
"Make use of every minute that we have! Lest that on the Day of Judgement we
regret that one minute we lost, that one deed that could take Us to Jannah!
May Allah Subhanu Wa Ta'ala, make Us all the owner of these Gems and make it easy to enter Jannatul Firdus"

Alhamdulillah, that Nothing is hidden from Allah SWT!!! It's always darkest before the dawn, and It's سُنَّةَ ٱللَّهِ giving victory to the oppressed!!!! Of course, we need to make a serious dua!!!
Khuzaymah ibn Thabit reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Beware of the supplication of the oppressed, for it is carried above the clouds. Allah Almighty says: By My might and majesty, certainly, I will help you in due time.
May Allah SWT help them and every oppressed!!!! May Allah SWT suffice them with what he pleases Ni’mal Maula Wa Ni’man Naseer!!!!!
وَعِزَّتِي وَجَلالِي لأَنْصُرَنَّكَ وَلَوْ بَعْدَ حِين
◇ La ilaha illa Allah wahdahu la sharika lah lahul mulku wa lahul hamd wa huwa 'ala kuli shayyin qadir
◇ Allah-u Akbar
◇ Astaghfiru-الله

Sura Al-Ahqaf 46:15
Translation “We have instructed man to be kind to his parents. His mother carried him with difficulty and gave birth to him with difficulty. His bearing and weaning period is thirty months. Until, when he reaches his full strength, and is forty years of age, he says, "My Lord, help me to be grateful for the blessings You have bestowed on me and on my parents; help me to do the right deeds that are pleasing to you. Make my children good. I have sincerely repented, and I am of those who submit to You."
