Sir I'm declaring you as most underrated model builder of youtube. This build is amazing, It's hard to believe it has just 700ish views. Hope your channel grow as fast as it can because it's well deserved. Congratulations.
I am about to start making a 1/700 scale carrier model - this is a great tutorial! This will help me immensely. Thank you very much. I must add...you have an amazing talent!
Before watching the build, I decided to subscribe, Saratoga was a great ship, it would have been great if she wasn't expended at Bikini Atoll, as a target, and preserve her as a museum ship. This model is great looking, my favourite class of US carrier during the second world war. Take care, and all the best.
So detailed for so small very nice. Im working on the uss saratoga va 60 at the moment but that one is a bit less detailed and bigger. Cant say i own the skill set you got there.
Your video just appeared on my recommendations, and think this is gonna be good. And I was right, but was even better than that. Amazing build, and love the edition and the filming. Keep it like that friend, you deserve more subscribers.
So glad I stumbled across your video, very lucky as your channel is still new. Subscribed after watching this beautiful build. Hope you build more ships!
I'm also very glad to have met people who share the same interests. The next projet will be the full internal Jagdpanther. What do you think of the next next one, 1:350 Prinz Eugen?
@@MonimixModel scharnhorst sound good! German BBs look so sleek. And after seeing how you build this 1/700 saratoga, I can only imagine what a big project its going to be for 1/350. Really looking forward!
I’m confused about your use of the soldering iron on the PE. Are you using it to heat the PE so it sinks into the plastic? Or to speed the drying of CA glue?
Wonderful. Do you do commission builds for customers? I served in the US Navy in the iOS and 90s, and have several vessels that I would love to have built for display in the library. Presently, I do not have anywhere near your skill level!
Thank you! Yes, I accept commissions to build. Please let me know the ships you would like to build. On the deposit of the commission. We can go through ebay or etsy.
Level of detail good. Excellent craftsmanship, but somehow doesn't feel right. I am not a Sara expert or an US carrier expert, so I may be really off-base.
@@yourordinarypotato6753 I don't think so. According to all the superglue I have used. This is the best. Because it is second best only to black glue in terms of workability. And after drying, it has the best toughness of all resin-based glues.
The detail in this is insane
The same insane 1:700 IJN Taihō Aircraft Carrier will comming. Stay tuned.
@@MonimixModel I am very excited :) can’t wait to see what you come up with!

Thank you very much. You have warmed my heart. And I'm even more motivated to run this channel.
I built the carrier Saratoga in 1983, it is a great looking ship in so many ways.

しかし、サラトガのキット、欲しくなってきました❤。とにかく殊勲艦なので、大切に保存してほしいです。
I have watched it several times,i like it very much. The more I watched it ,the better I like it . Thank you for sharing.
Thank you.
Respect for doing 1/700 ships I don't think I can do all the small parts you did an amazing job
Awesome build and video. My Grandfather was on this ship in WW2 in the Pacific theater. Again the kit looks awesome. 👍👍
That was an honorable experience. All my respect.
Really nice build, thanks for sharing.
I am also very happy that you can support my channel.
Fantastic, now add a black stripe and a 3, Dad would've loved it.

Your subscription sent a thrill of joy to my heart . Thank you.
The details are fantastic! What a great art!
I'm considering getting Trumpeter's 1/350 Saratoga, and maybe Lexington too. I built the 1/350 Ranger CV4 earlier this year.
You are doing a fantastic job !
Decent job my good man

I used the soldering iron to heat the PEs. And they sink into the plastic very well.

Beautiful ship! May i ask? what tool & what size drill bit did you use to make your portholes!? would love to get one of those!
Hello i need help, how can you stick up the plane on a all finished deck?😊
I used PVA glue
Great video Im curious what kind of nippers are you using?
Thank you. The Nipper is Tamiya 74123
@@MonimixModel Thanks.
👍😍
this is CV-2 because of the guns it has
No go and see by yourself en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Saratoga_(CV-3)#/media/File:USS_Saratoga_(CV-3)_underway,_circa_in_1942_(80-G-K-459).jpg
CV-2 is USS Lexington which is USS Saratoga CV-3 (the ship in the video) sister ship

what glue did you use for the landing gear and the engine
Loctite super glue-3 power flex, for sure.
@@MonimixModel will any loctite super glue work ???

The oil tanker? AO-23? AO-134? I'll take a look.
After watching this videos..
Me : that's a lot of small parts 😅
