Love these re-reviews, always makes my day to see IW Zombies get more retrospectives after all these years and especially great to see with me (someone who's played this since launch) & friends (who are playing for a first time) going through all the quest these past few weeks. Gonna make sure to keep up with these & other videos you got, you're doing awesome work!👍 Also not sure if you knew this already but wanted to point it out; the characters do react to the situation at hand BUT ONLY in 4-players, they have many convos both next to each other & through the walkie talkies as you start, progress through the map, and the quest leading them to talking about questions on where they are, the guest star, fun banter, theories, the bosses, or how will they deal with the step they're on. It's actually something I do like a bit over Treyarchs 1-on-1 convos & how they handle them however that being said Treyarchs system works way way better in allowing 1-4 Players in always commenting on what's going on & giving more character/story easily instead of the IWZ one where it locks it behind the 4-Player count but personally when that convo with them does happen it sometimes feels really nice or funny to hear.
Fantastic video as always. Out of all the IW maps, Shaolin Shuffle was the one I knew the least about. Although this series has confirmed to me that I will never beat any of the Infinite Warfare easter eggs lmao. RIP
I remember attempting the Easter egg quest on Shaolin one time and had downed at the boss fight, but Pam bugged out and didn't revive me and I failed. I remember rage quitting the game that day and trying to go for the Easter eggs in general.

Great review as always! One small thing I thought of when watching the video, I wonder if for the train step of the Skull Breaker quest, you can use the clock at that subway for the nunchuck quest to slow down the train, allowing you to grab the skull on the front of the train without having to down yourself. I feel like it should work, but I'm not entirely sure, but it'd be an interesting thing to try out.
Shaolin is also tied as my favorite (with spaceland hehe), but i honestly feel the complete opposite about Stan's criticisms. I agreed with most of his criticisms of Rave, but here i just don't understand them, with the exception of the ninjas. My biggest issue with it is his criticism about the easter egg's design philosophy. The characters in SS are literally undercover detectives that are searching for clues and ways to find the Rat King. Most of the steps (with the exception of the disco ball step i can admit) are directly tied into being 'detective work'. Freeing rats and following them to find out how to get to/spawn their 'king', getting his eyeball and searching for 'clues' around the city, getting a lead in the form of morse code (most 'officials' during that time would communicate through hidden messages), etc. Not to mention, i actually find alot of the steps refreshing and fun, especially when so many of Treyarch's easter egg steps are usually; kill zombie, charge up ____ item, escort something, rinse and repeat, etc. My other issue is also him critcising the fact that the mode's lore isn't as expanded on as he would like, while at the same time acknowledging that the story/lore is just a vessel to get us from point a to point b and the main aim of the mode is just to be goofy fun. It's gameplay focused, not story focused, but he still critices it anyway which for me doesn't make sense. His critcism about training doesn't hold much weight since you've got two OP training spots in the form of the underground lair, and the pap streets (even with the weird hit boxes if you know how to traverse through you will never get blocked/hit). The chi would simply be extremely overpowered to the point of making the map bad if it were implemented any other way, especially when you consider the fact that there are already OP items in the map like the Katana, Nunchuks, the boom box spawning every minute, and the Rat King's heart. I can agree with the mahjong tiles criticism, but i view it as a minor inconvience since once you familiarize yourself with where they are, you can never forget their locations (ex. i can still remember the boom box tile locations even years after not playing) Idk why he thinks calling side steps/ee steps abritrary a fair criticism when ee steps in zombies, in general, is arbitrary. Also, idc but the parkour step in SS is really really fun, hard =/= not fun. In general though, he mentions how fun it is to play when you have items that are designed to help aid the player in killing the ninjas and training, but at the same time says that without them the map suffers....... well, yes. These items are specifically added to the map so you can use them, and the map is balanced around them. You can't claim there aren't alot of choices since he mentioned several choices which all offer different playstyles.
Since each of these parts are over 45 min on average, and since you’ll probably talk about the other modes after each map, we may now have a 4 hour review of infinite warfare. I love the concept and story of the map. I truly feel again the deeper lore of the map of the rat king and his minions are unfortunately and severely lacking. Getting to understand Arthur’s Motivations and his failures is what I’d be intrigued by. Also being able to understand why the vials of green liquid matter. Because in Rave the vial is also visible in the tunnels near the beach.
There are a couple of guides out there. It might be easier to see than read. You just need to get the crane chi to level 3(so you can crane kick) and a boom box. Again great series, can't wait for radioactive.

Shaolin being one of my fave maps ever, this wasn't the most fun watch obviously ahahaha but i fully get where you're coming from on most of it. I'm gonna mention the things i love about this map, mainly the high rounds. Happy you mentioned the Rat King Heart, as most people completely forget to mention it, which sucks, as it's possibly the best tactical equipment we have ever gotten. Much like the Hell's Redeemer, it's infinite use, infinite damage, and has a really quick cooldown. I adore the high rounds on this map, as they're challenging, but so rewarding, being similar to a lot of treyarch maps in using everything in your arsenal. The high round strat is actually training, not camping. The map may punish running, but if you double pack the Titan, you get a massive walking speed boost. Paired with Racing Stripes, your walk speed becomes similar to your base run speed, so you completely avoid ninja teleports, while still being able to outrun them and the rest of the horde. Band-aid solution sure, but it does help! You train in the sewers, keep the titan out for movement, and use it to kill skaters, consistently use the Heart, and use the Sword to eradicate full hordes. you can also utilise chi abilities at the start of every round, namely the dragon one for the swirling effect, to easily get rid of up to 2-3 hordes. Then there is also the fan trap in the sewers, which is fantastic and lasts ages. On top of all of that, the Sword is the first WW you can get infinite ammo for. Since it's a wall weapon, you can always buy a different gun, go back and rebuy, then pack once for infinite damage ability, then pack again when out of ammo for the second infinite damage ability. Paired with the titan giving fast walking speeds, you can actually easily do trade outs without getting jumped by ninja zombies! on top of all that, the theming is just perfect. Having seen a lot of blacksploitation films, such as Black Mama White Mama, Shaft, Dolemite and Cotton Comes to Harlem... the tone is perfect, and Pam Grier (tied with Elvira) is the best celeb cameo in all of IW. The locales are amazing, the music is perfect and I love the roles our main four play. To me this is the perfect IW map, with Spaceland and Rave only a fraction behind it, and Attack only a hair behind them two. I don't speak of Beast. Anyway great review as always!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it! Sorry it wasn't as glowing as you might hope it would be but I was truly trying to find things I both liked and disliked. And I was surprised how much I enjoyed the map. But some of its more glaring issues are quite big ones to say the least. Cool strat with the titan though!
First off great review, however i have a few things to comment on: 1: During beast from beyonds ghost and skulls quest you send the turn style back in time to shaolin which is why it just kinda appears. 2: A lot of people do not know but there are actually 3 secret Chi animations you can unlock after maxing out your Chi level, if you wish to see these look up “Shaolin shuffle purple panther” on youtube. 3: I seriously love how you are always including the ghost and skulls quest despite them being a chore to do sometimes. Have a great day y’all!
So wait you send the turnstile back in time in beast? Is that the explanation as to why the map skips three rounds is because of a time travel continuity thing with beast and also thanks for the note about the purple panther attacks. Literally have never heard of them until just now
yeah the turnstile getting sent back to shaolin is part of the bfb ghost and skulls, it prolly has some lore behind it other than that but thats all i know. And also im not surprised you didnt know about the purple panther considering ive only ever met one person who knew about them other than me
I can't believe how utterly horrible the Ninjas are. I remember that from ZIS people pointed out that zombies spawning/dropping in had their hitboxes spawn on the map before they were there, causing people to get stuck on nothing when training. What thing I’ve never understood about shaolin shuffle & attack of the radioactive thing is why is there even zombies on the map? They aren’t zombie films? I know with beast from beyond a point is made that other films are bleeding into that map so it makes more sense on that map atleast

complaining about no shield 4 videos in a row, brother this isn't a game issue this is a skill issue now. There is no shield or armor in IW and there never could be because a shield pickup would feel super out of place in IW. If you never noticed, no location to pickup or interact with anything is bigger than the spaceland claw machines. This is what made beast feel clunky.
Everything doesn't need to be made for casual players, actually nothing should be made for casual players, u either like video games or u don't, someone who plays casually should have zero influence on games. If u struggle and don't like it go play hello kitty island adventure

I first completed this egg thanks to some random Arab guys I met in a public match.
I love this map. Its just so unique, with the music, the setting and the melee wonder weapons
complaining about no shield 4 videos in a row, brother this isn't a game issue this is a skill issue now.

@@FartKnocker-n5j how about making the game fun too?
