Yes it would be beneficial to know them first before diving into their music. Tho their songs often seems like love songs at first, they have actually a way deeper meaning. For example "boy with love" is dedicated to ARMY.

I wouldn’t be surprised that in the scene of them dancing on stage with all the billboards around that there is an actual hint for the next album but in too lazy to look at it closely.
Yes!!Also the reason ppl don’t like it when bts is called Kpop even though the media call them that is bc if you compare the style or music to other Kpop songs and compare bts company to other korean companies it’s very different.Also they aren’t “one direction” is bc they do more then just sing and write Music.One of the things they did is that they spoke at the United Nations and have a campaign called “love yourself”.💜💜Really like the reaction.

Halsey sings more in the original track which is in the Boy with luv (ARMY Version) MV. She doesn't have many lines in the song in this MV because they company is like telling the fans what they should expect to hear from BTS when they perform the song live or in a concert (which is going to be without Halsey most of the time).

BTS is huge because they aren’t really your typical boyband like 1D, Backstreet , etc or like other kpop groups . No offense to them , I love them but just stating their different in their own way. They aren’t like other western artists that talk about love , sex , drugs or toxic relationships , etc.
BTS works hard at having their music connect to anyone of all ages and race. BTS stands for their korean name bangtan seonyeondann. Which means Bulletproof Boy Scouts . The meaning behind their name connects with their music . The meaning behind their name is “ to block out stereotypes, criticism, and expectations that aim at adolescents like bullets “.
They want their music to help motivate, inspire change and help people with a positive message . BTS music is know to cover social issues such as oppression , discrimination, bullying, women empowerment, generation gap between old and young , anxiety, depression, mental health and suicide.
And other social issues
In Asian media , mental health and suicide isn’t treated well . Problems usually start at a young age which is why BTS is a voice for the youth. However even adults are fans of them as well. BTS uses their fame music and platform to address these topics and create more changes . I’ve read comments from people saying even tho they can’t understand them, their lyrics and music really inspired them through tough times of bullying , hardships and having suicidal thoughts. So if you ever question and wonder why BTS is currently the biggest boyband and kpop group , this is the reason.
Plus the cool thing about kpop is that Artists are known to incorporate different genres into their music . And BTS is really versatile . They’ve incorporated hip hop , pop , EDM , RnB , trap , rock , etc . So there’s always something for everyone

unlike the others kpop bands BTS write their own lyrics and music, they have a great messege to young people through their lyrics, their latest album LOVE YOURSELF series and Map of the soul was help me through my hard time, they are not just talk about sex, or money or women, they talk about self love, empowerment, mental health, hope u guys will found out their beautiful lyrics soon, for me is LOVE MY SELF, 2!3!, PARADISE, MAGIC SHOP, EPHYPANY, YOUNG FOREVER

@@blaubird Yeah other bands do write their own stuff it's not just bts. I really did believe bts were the only ones that wrote their own music because bts was the first kpop group i ever got into and everyone kept saying bts were the only ones writing their own stuff,so when i looked at other kpop groups and found out that they also write some of their own music,maybe not as much as bts, but none the less still write, i was surprised.
Thats why I 💜💜💜 BTS cos they ORIGINAL! Period and im METALHEAD means im not interisting with OTHERS than BTS & ROCKS genre 💥
