I just lost a friend to cancer. This song came to me at the right time. I needed this song. It has helped me through this dark time and I cannot thank you guys enough for it. this song hits in all the feels. and is such a great contrast to Calm Before the Storm.. and I have a date to save to get the album. Now, to live up to my self given title of Beantown Hit Predictor, and see if i can get this (and Hurricane from your labelmates Shaman's Harvest) on Boston area radio.. If there was an active rock station that wouldn't be an issue.. but with WAAF's quasi demise (only on HD or streaming, no DJ's i cant listen like that TBTH), my only real option is Mix104.1.. who have played my out of the blue requests before.
Sorry folks, this just sounds like cookie cutter Alt/Rock to me, the vocalist sounds like about a hundred other "earnest" types singing what to him is compelling, anybody of a certain age who saw/heard the MASTERS just has to stifle a yawn! There ARE many great newer bands out there, based on this, I wouldn't call these cats one of them, people need to ask MORE of the artists now, just as they need to ask MORE of themselves.
