Iconic football superstar Pelé has died at the age of 82 after a long and successful career. Known as the “Beautiful Game” Pelé was a master at combining elegance and power on the soccer field.
Pelé is most famous for his time with Santos FC, where he won three World Cups and scored over 600 goals. His influence on the sport is still widespread today and his statue can be found at the Maracanã stadium in Rio de Janeiro. Rest in peace, Pelé- the “King of Football.”
