Awsome work from all of the guys and gals. ❤
I truly appreciate you uploading this video . Fire departments across the country should watch this video so they can learn everything you shouldn’t do on the fire grounds . This is obviously a vacant dwelling that appears to have been vacant for a really long time . Unless there’s a known life hazard inside not a single FF should have entered this dwelling . This is a fire that should have been fought from the outside . I did see one ladder up but the truck company should have removed those bars from the front windows right away . They’re blocked egress points for FF’s that shouldn’t have been inside anyway . FF’s using tools and pulling hose line with no PPE . How would you explain an injury to the insurance company ? You wouldn’t be covered . I guess they don’t have safely officers ? I love the aggressiveness of this department , but it’s a vacant house that looks like a FF’s death trap . I wouldn’t have put my guys inside that place . Concentrate on exposures. Either way I’m glad nobody got hurt . Stay safe out there gentlemen
@@thejfrd2490 Then I definitely stand corrected . But are you talking about actual residents or squatters ? Big difference. Also , vacant or not most of my points are still 100% valid .
@9:00 - being up in that burned area with only a t-shirt is not a very good practice. Leaning up against a hidden live ember or an unseen nail could result in a rather painful injury.

It hurts my insides to see so many lines going interior WHILE IT'S STILL RIPPIN' OUTSIDE! And on the second floor which makes it so much worse. We don't pass fire to fight fire.
Why would you waste your limited air before you even get there or know your assignment...? Why would you restrict your visibility before being able to size up for hazards...?
U put the dirty hose back on ur truck? In my district we have a truck that bring hoses and SCBA to the scene. The dirty ones get cleaned. Greetings from germany.
Poor incident command. Put 3 lines in operation interior while the second floor burns and risks collapse on the interior crews. Not sure why 3 lines would go interior with active fire burning exterior.
Horrible Fire response!!! Drive your truck onto the grass and use the truck to start spraying water while the minions work on getting the 2-2.5" lines going. No sense of urgency. Chief should be demoted.

1:15 Tons of Visible Burning Material that can be only attacked from the outside is ignored so they can go inside to try to extinguish it. The fire could have been OUT before they could even perform a search and yet they allowed it to continue burning because they were fixated on search alone and not Protection.
If they suspected victims were inside there is nothing wrong with their strategy there skippy. Any action that any ff takes uses resources and wasting water on siding while someone is trapped in the structure would have been stupid. I can't imagine being criticized by some keyboard warrior who has likely never fought an interior attack structure fire in his life while I risked mine trying to save lives.
