Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department responds to house fire

JFRD responded to a residential structure fire to an occupied structure that had fire burning off the back side of the house and working its way quickly to the attic.
Early reports indicated that this was a chemical fire or that chemicals were involved and that turned out to be inaccurate information. Although the fire was deemed suspicious due to family reports of domestic issues and also the location of this fire.
There were no injuries to this fire...the cause is being investigated by the Bureau of Fire, Arson, and Explosives Investigations. The Red Cross was called to assist three adults.
