People need to STOP with the Mercury comparisons. The kid deserves a shot to show his own talent. GOD gave him that voice, he had no say in the matter.
Don’t think people are trying to diminish his own talent in any way. Just happy to see some one that actually has talent & can sing and entertain audience. Think people miss that and are paying him a complement. All best to him and the band!

I’m 52, been a rock fan since forever and I’m happy to see some newer bands that actually turn up the guitars, bass, and drums, and effin’ ROCK and have fun doing it! And a charismatic singer to boot.....keep it going Struts!!
I 60 and about to start crapping my pants again and I love these guys. Good, fun, lively rock n roll. It reminds of a time when all my dreams were still alive. Young, fit, banging chicks, and making bank.
so your happy that the singer is doing his job? You must be the guy who is impressed that you speak into a microphone and food comes out at the next window? Low standards.
These guys opened for The Foo Fighters, last night in Lexington Kentucky...if THIS is the kind of stuff kids are doing these days, REAL Rock-N-Roll is alive and well !!
I like the style and energy...I'm just not hearing any first-rate songs here. Without the good songs, they won't get past the insider push and hype to actually getting en masse fans.
I think the first three are singles-worthy already. Just as good as anything else out there on the radio. I'm still listening right now, so I haven't heard anything beyond the first three yet...
Easy to focus on the lead singer (and that kid was BORN to front a band) but the rest are tight as the drummer's snare! Excellent stuff! Rock n Roll isn't dead yet!
He clearly was born to be a frontman for a rock band. He's like Steven Tyler, can you imagine these guys doing anything else? I've heard of this band for some years now, but this is my first listening and seeing them. Impressive! And they have massive hooks in their songs too.
That singer is a pure talented musician. LOT of Freddie in him, you can easly see it. I think that in "Kiss This" the "I" in the beginning of the chorus is on a C#. And he takes it with full voice. A truly gifted and extended voice. Wow!
Kaci Nearing I swear to the god, if it wasnt for the pop sounding polish they have on the studio versions, they would be the biggest modern rock band right now
Luke is a great showman isn't he, really knows how to get the crowd going and pumped up. This is what has been missing from music for to long. So glad to see rock is awake again.
I had heard "Kiss This" a few times on the radio over the past few months and decided to look up the other day what else they sing and I gotta say... Holy Smokes I like these guys! They rock and I love the energy. Lead singer has some Freddie Mercury vibe going on (with the way he sings with and interacts with the fans) and I think it's freaking great.
Dustin Gaffke not only them their’s plenty of other good stuff out their. Like Lance Lipinsky & The Lovers, Leon Bridges, Greta Van Fleet, Airbourne, 42 Decibel, Goodbye June, Gary Clark Jr, Thunderpussy, The Beaches, Jade Bird, Donna Missal, Cleopatrick, Arctic Monkeys, Station, Nothing But Thieves, The Spyrals, Fire Tiger, The Playtones, Tempt, The Sheepdogs, and Rival Sons. I highly recommend each artist.
He’s no Freddie Mercury, but I see Freddie in Luke. So much charisma. He is able to hype up and control a crowd composed with people who aren’t Struts fans; it’s an incredible thing to watch.
I saw them at the last Motley Crue show ever I have heard of them bought the album I knew the songs and I swear to God they had me sitting down for Motley Crue!!! That’s what you call real rock and roll I was exhausted after the struts
In fact, the whole damn band is good. I thought they'd be a little sloppy but they're really tight with all the instuments and the perfect backing vocals going on. The singer esepcially blows my mind because I am a singer and I know how difficult this vocal style is.
Pay close attention around the 18:30 to 19:37 minute mark. Those background vocals are prerecorded. The lead guitarist backs away from the mic at 19:35 and the high part keeps going.
Love these guys, the Struts are going to be huge, you just wait and see. They need to tour all over the world. I love the way front man sings die hard rock n roll singing!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️👌👌👌❤️❤️
Freakin love these guys. I've seen them twice and the second time I had to drive about 10 hours each way. Absolutely worth it. I'm an old rocker, 59, yep. Great trip with my boys though to go and watch the struts. My boys are young and have seen the Struts live about 4 times I think. They turned me on to them. This next generation will be fine. Once we get past this COVID shit we'll be seeing them again!
He knows how to work the crowd! Really getting them into it the way Freddie Mercury use to back in the day! That's the way that you do it everyone! I also like the way that he trills is R's like the way Johnny Rotten use to do it in the sEx pIsTols! Very cool talented band.. ☺️👍 Keep rOcKin' guys!

I also do like this band very much but there are two issues with the singer. I believe he is not trained and I am afraid he will lose his singing abilities later in his career. The second issue is the drugs of course. I can't help myself but feel sorry for a great band that is going to be destroyed because of drugs in the near future. I think anyone can see that coming.

If there is something that bands like the Struts and Foo Fighters have taught me is that you dont need to be a virtuoso musician to make it big you just need a desire, a passion for your music, and the ability to make people who arent in fron of your stage to say "thats the stage i want to be at.
